We will briefly talk about the next LEGO "home" license with the sudden and impromptu appearance of the logo for this range expected in early 2016.
Difficult to see in this illustration the side Steampunk announced by some, I see rather a mixture of science fiction / knights with airs of "Masters of the Universe"for those who know this cartoon broadcast here in the 80s ...
We don't know much about this new range for the moment, but the list of sets that filtered a few days ago revealed the names of the characters who will be staged: The five "Nexo knights"would then be Robin, Macy, Clay, Lance and Aaron and the bad guys would be jestro (half-human, half-robot character), Moltor and Lavaria.
Six of the boxes from the first wave of sets are identified as versions Ultimate characters, undoubtedly a variation in sauce Construction Figures heroes and villains.
We are promised about fifteen sets to start with a second wave to follow and a high-level marketing plan as was the case for example for the now defunct Legends of Chima range.
To be continued...
Here is good news for all those who prefer to acquire the various books on the theme of LEGO in French version: The book LEGO Star Wars: Small Scenes from a Big Galaxy which brings together the creations of artist-photographer Vesa Lehtimäki will be released in French on November 6.
This is obviously a work that gives pride of place to photos, but the author brings to it over the pages some interesting insights on his techniques and his artistic choices that the youngest readers and all allergic to the language of Shakespeare will appreciate.
It is the publisher Huginn & Munnin, the usual supplier of books localized in our language, which offers this version, entitled for the occasion The Secret Life of LEGO Star Wars almost simultaneous output with the original version edited by Dorling Kindersley.
The French version is available now for pre-order at the public price of 29.95 € at amazon at this address.
Looks like the wait is over: Here are finally the official visuals of the sets based on the movie Star Wars: The Force Awakens which will be available from September 4th.
The announcement seems official until proven otherwise, the visuals are in high resolution and sites very close to the manufacturer like FBTB, The Brothers Brick (which exclusively publishes a review of the LEGO Ideas 21303 WALL-E set provided by LEGO) or lego.gizmodo.com (which even has the right to use the LEGO brand in the address of its space dedicated to the brand while the manufacturer usually sues all those who use this name in their urls ...) who relay these images. Not to mention all the sites of fans of the Star Wars saga, French or not, which present these sets and which for the most part have privileged relations with Lucasfilm and Disney.
Click on the visuals for large format views.
