Jedi Temple by ADHO15 - 3D render by bobsy26

... if LEGO put a little of its own and decided to offer us something other than ships ...

I'm not really a fan of LDD MOCs (Lego digital designer), I think I've written it here a good half-dozen times already. But this project initiated by ADHO15 is interesting in more ways than one. First of all, his Jedi Temple is a real success on this scale. Nothing to say, it's perfect. But behind this idea, another should be able to gain ground: What if LEGO offered some iconic buildings from the Star Wars universe in the same spirit as those of the current Architecture range?

The potential is enormous: Cloud City, Mos Eisley's cantina, Jabba's lair, Yavin IV base, etc ... And an Architecture / Star Wars range would certainly be a hit with fans. It would complete a range made up almost exclusively of vessels and collectors would certainly be interested in a mini-collection of emblematic places of the saga on a micro or mini scale.

For now, this virtual MOC is a Cuusoo project. It is not the only one in this spirit, but this one is very accomplished visually. Other views of this building are available in MOCeur's BrickShelf gallery and he even offers the file in .lxf format of its creation.

Edit: 3D rendering of the image was performed by bobsy26 (see his flickr gallery) according to the file of ADH015.

LEGO Star Wars Alarm Clocks: Darth Maul & Shadow Trooper

The already very long list of Alarm clocks (Clock radio) based on LEGO minifigs is extended with two new references available at Toys R Us USA  at a price of $ 24.99: The highly anticipated Darth Maul and a well-made Shadow Trooper.

These alarm clocks will undoubtedly also be available soon on the LEGO Shop at the usual price of 29.99 € as well as at Amazon.

If you are looking for an old reference (Vader, Buzz, Bobba, etc ...), I added what I found at amazon on Pricevortex in category Home.

LEGO Rock Band Minifigure Review 850486 by MonsieurCaron

Sorry for the title ...

I constantly complain that the quality of the brickfilms or video reviews offered on YouTube leaves something to be desired, and I just realized that there is one director that I have never mentioned here: Marc Andre Caron. He posted a comment on one of the posts on this blog, and I figured this error needs to be fixed.

However, this gentleman whose work I had discovered thanks to the QuéLUG forum (Le LUG québécois), does very beautiful things like this very creative brickfilm entitled "How to make a monster"for example, and which humorously stages the minifigs of the Monster Fighters set 9466 The Crazy Scientist and His Monster.

His latest video is also interesting: It is visually very successful and allows to compare the minifigs of the set 850486 Rock Band with those of the different series of collectible minifigs from which they are inspired.

Do not hesitate to consult its site et his YouTube channel, there are other brickfilms to discover and in addition ... they seem to be good ...

Edit: Interview with MonsieurCaron to read on kaspadbrick.
