It's the kind of touting title that I like, generally this type of title boosts the frequentation of the blog in a surprising way, probably because of its ambiguous nature ... In short, all this to tell you that sok117 posted cleaner images of its MOC from the Helicarrier and the least we can say is that it is a nice playset in a modular and cohesive System format.
LEGO would probably not have done better, and that's a compliment ... The machine in a beautiful box with ten minifigs and a retail price of 149 € would be snapped up on the shelves of your toy store prefer.
I let you discover more about sok117's flickr gallery.
We had discovered what is now called the Moodland Scale with many creations in the Star Wars universe and M00DSWIM returns with this magnificent Batpod ridden by a Batman that I find however less successful than the usual characters of this MOCeur. A fabric cape might have been more suitable in order to give a little more lightness and realism to the whole.
M00DSWIM promises other views of this MOC on his flickr gallery, I advise you to go for a walk from time to time to discover this original achievement from other angles.
Artifex connects the reviews at a frantic pace and today it offers us the set 9526 Palpatine's Arrest. What better than an animated review to discover all the features of a set like this one whose main purpose is clearly to reproduce the scene seen in theEpisode III Revenge of the Sith in which Mace Windu gets kicked out of Palpatine's office after his fellow Jedis get knocked out in seconds.
Artifex presents each feature in detail, so you can make an informed decision about whether this set is worth the 89.99 € requested by Toys R Us which has the exclusivity. Note that you can also find this set from third-party sellers on amazon.de at a rate of 107.80 € or amazon.fr at the also exorbitant price of 129.98 €.
The editing is of poor quality but the project is promising. sok117 makes us salivate with a Helicarrier which seems rather successful, as far as we can offer a LEGO version of this extraordinary machine with reasonable proportions.
From what we see, the MOCeur has been able to reproduce the characteristic lines of this flying aircraft carrier and I am waiting to see a little more with better quality pictures to get a better idea.
Either way, keep an eye on sok117's flickr gallery, new views of this MOC should be proposed soon.
Omar Ovalle continues his series of MOCs based on Speeder Bikes for various and varied creatures and I have already presented some of them to you below. This time around, he's featuring a Gamorrean on his craft and the first question that comes to my mind is: Would a creature of this ilk, with its IQ close to nothing, be able to pilot such a gear?
I love the style of this speeder bike, the color scheme works wonderfully and even if I doubt that this species has ever had access to this technological level, here we are entitled to a nice extrapolation of what one of the Jabba guards from this breed could pilot with a reputation rather mixed with brutality and bellicose intentions.
If you have not yet discovered Omar Ovalle's work on the different Speeders Bikes that came from his imagination, go to his flickr gallery.
