Friendly project presented by WWWally on Cuusoo that this Death Star 2 which acts as a pendulum and which will find its place without any problem on our desks or on our bedside tables ... The spherical aspect is very well rendered and this exclusively using plates, except the elements to fix the dish and some tiles used for the trench.
The built-in clock mechanism is everything more standard and powered by one AA battery. Before proposing his Death star 2, WWWally had designed a first generation Death Star as a prototype, just as successful, although I much prefer the version "in construction".
You can still do like me, i.e. support this project, even if we all already know that the road is very very long up to 10.000 supporters, and that the path will be paved with pitfalls that risk leading to the classification without follow-up to this initiative.
But now is not the time for defeatism, so go on the page dedicated to this project and vote if you want to keep a (slim) hope that one day this original clock will land on your desk ...
The distracted glance I threw at this MOC didn't seem to want to go much further than for many other creations which are very nice but which do not encourage me to zoom in on the photos to find out. more...
And then, unconsciously no doubt, I returned to these photos. Something really appealed to me. Is it the almost organic shape (I don't know why I thought of a big beetle ..), the visual mix between SpeedBoat and grapple or the association of incongruous idea that I made with a batarang?
oursblancgroschat caught me with this pretty and successful Batman Intruder, well finished, racy, in the techno-bourgeois spirit of the Batman universe ... The thing is also endowed with many functions: Trap, hiding place, train of landing, cell for an evil prisoner, kryptonite bombs ....
Go take a look at the flickr gallery of this MOCeur whose name fits well in my special list "But where do they get their nicknames?"and discover this machine and its many features from every angle.
We had already discovered the official visuals of the ship and the box, so here are the three minifigs delivered in this set. 9525 Pre Vizsla's Mandalorian Fighter (available for preorder at amazon.de) Close-up: Pre Vizsla, a Mandalorian soldier and Obi-Wan Kenobi.
Obviously it is Pre Vizsla, leader of the faction Mandalorian Deathwatch during the Clone Wars, which catches all eyes in this set with a really very elaborate minifigure: Legs, silkscreened cape and helmet, jetpack and black saber. LEGO could have perhaps innovated on the saber to make it a little more like the one seen in the animated series The Clone Wars, especially at the level of the handle. We will be satisfied with the classic model.
The Mandalorian soldier is similar to the minifigs in the set. 7914 Madalorian Battle Pack released in 2011. Obi-Wan's minifig in The Clone Wars version is the one we already got in the sets 7931 T-6 Jedi Shuttle, 7753 Pirate Tank et 7676 Republic Attack Gunship.
And that's just when you were starting to tell yourself that Calin Bors (alias _Tiler on flickr) was going to be confined to producing mini-mobiles that this one brings out an incredible BatWing ...
Do not get carried away immediately, the machine is not in full flight, the support has obviously been erased in Photoshop. But admit that the mini-scale can still surprise us with this exceptional level of detail ...
Come on, now let's secretly hope for a mini Quinjet ...
Don't ask me where Cheuk, Eurobricks forumer, got his copy of LEGO Batman The Visual Dictionary, I do not know.
On the other hand, he posted two (small) photos of the exclusive minifigure which is delivered with namely Batman in Electro-Suit version.
I have tinkered with the assembly above for you so that you can compare the in-game version with the plastic version.
The design of the torso is noticeably different with a full logo and a slightly more detailed belt on the minifigure delivered with the book.
Note that the book is expected at home for early September according to amazon.fr.
Update 04/07 following publication on http://fabjoueauxlego.com better images, I clipped you on a white background.
