LEGO Star Wars - Darth Maul by Chapel7048 - The Clone Wars Season 4 Episode 21 (Brothers)

... And chapelle7048 is one of those who are definitely well inspired. He has just offered us in two images what LEGO should have done in a bag.

Here is finally Darth Maul with his arachnoid body (does it say that?) Seen in episode 21 (Brothers) of the animated series The Clone Wars and with his new legs made of metal waste seen in episode 22 (Season Finale - Revenge). Everything is done with the new minifigure from the bag 6005188. Nice work, Mr. Chapelle ....

Take a walk on his flickr gallery.

6868 Hulk's Helicarrier Breakout Review - CorneliusMurdock

A few more reviews of the Marvel novelties on Eurobricks with the 6868 Hulk's Helicarrier Breakout presented by CorneliusMurdock which we can say that Loki has no print on the back or double face, that the sheet of stickers is imposing, that the delivered jet is sketchy but successful with a pretty cockpit canopy, that the laboratory is a little rickety , that Thor and Hawkeye are both entitled to a silkscreen on the back and a double-sided face (happy / not happy) and that the Hulk, well ... Hulk what ....

This same forumer presents a review of the set 6866 Wolverine's Chopper Showdown. On the menu, a rather simplistic and all gray motorcycle, a slightly bulky helicopter, three minifigs: Magneto, Wolverine and Deadpool. The three minifigs are entitled to a silkscreen print on the back, Magneto and Wolverine have a double-sided face (not happy / very angry).

Finally, he presents us a review of the set 6865 Captain America's Avenging Cycle with more stickers, a motorcycle like Catwoman, a shapeless alien vehicle, a moldy cannon, a very successful Captain America, and two rather mediocre aliens.

If you want to save yourself the Great Review, Amazing, Coool, and Keep on ... thingy stuff, go directly to CorneliusMurdock's flickr gallery, everything is there in pictures:

New LEGO Cuusoo Approval Process

After the fiasco, or the success of your choice, of the MOC-based project The Winchester (Shaun of the Dead) by yatkuu which reached 10.000 supporters largely thanks to the support of actor Simon Pegg, too happy to see himself immortalized in minifig format even though he has publicly declared that he does not receive royalties on the sale of derivative products from the film, LEGO Cuusoo's thinking heads change yet again The game's rules so as not to have to deal with this type of unexpected success which poses big problems for politics moral from the maker of Billund.

The new rule is simple: Filtering and censorship.

From now on, any project submitted must be approved before appearing online. In short, LEGO will eliminate anything that can pose a problem: Licenses that cannot be produced, projects that are too gory, violent or based on competing universes, delusions of young TFOLs eager to obtain buckets of minifigs, fans of Transformers and Hasbro , disturbing projects supported by the media buzz, demands disguised as projects, etc ....

In short, I can tell you without getting too wet that in a few weeks we will hear more about Cuusoo, and that in a few months LEGO will announce the end of the games. As was already the case with many of the manufacturer's initiatives that did not meet the expected success ...

But ultimately, if Cuusoo was diverted for other purposes than the simple goal of promoting a realistic project supported by the fan community, it is undoubtedly because it lacks a space of free expression for all those who have something to say or defend around their passion without risking being censored ... And when I speak of space for expression, I de facto exclude most of the English-speaking forums, locked by LEGO which does reigning order and morality via an army of moderators whose objectivity sometimes leaves much to be desired ....

LEGO Star Wars - Chrome Gold C-3PO - C-3PO (9490 Droid Escape)

This is the excellent thebrickblogger.com which reports the info, and the article is dated March 31, 2012, so a priori it would not be yet another April Fool's Day (I'm a little jaded by these bad jokes which abound every year and which no longer make me really laugh ...).

It all started with a meeting with Chris Bonven Johansen, LEGO Minifigure Designer by trade and specialist in LEGO Star Wars minifigs, during the Lego world 2012. This one would have confirmed that a new version of the minifigure of the set 9490 Droid Escape with visible cables would be offered during the summer of 2012 in a still unspecified promotional form.

Chris Bonven Johansen does not give any details on the distribution mode of this new Chrome Gold minifigure: We do not yet know if it will be inserted randomly in certain sets or if it will be distributed during an upcoming event ...

Information to be taken obviously with enormous tweezers because of the period conducive to false announcements ....

promotional hulk

Well, LEGO has understood that the key is the minifig. We stop the joke, and we throw exclusive minifig everywhere, so we are sure to cast a wide net.

After the Darth Maul, Iron Man & Captain America, Batman, Superman, Green Lantern, we are putting the cover back with this still rather vague promotion (and for good reason ...) whose visual was posted on Brickipedia.

The message is clear: For $ 50 of purchases, a free Hulk minifig, in minifig format this time unlike the figurine in the set 6868 Hulk's Helicarrier Breakout.

It's hard to say where this promo comes from, maybe from a LEGO Store Calendar or the catalog of a US brand. We will know more soon and Bricklink will be swarming with green minifigs without delay ....
