DC Comics publishes a first image from the LEGO Batman 2 game. The file name (LB2_X360_Screen004_Wave2.5.jpg) suggests that this is an in-game capture on XBox 360.
Not enough to make a cheese, we see a Batman ready to take action and a Superman who stares at Red Robin condescendingly ...
We will have to wait to see more ...
In the meantime you can always pre-order the game on your favorite console or on PC:
LEGO Batman 2 DC Super Heroes PS3 (49.99 €)
LEGO Batman 2 DC Super Heroes PS Vita (€39.99)
LEGO Batman 2 DC Super Heroes XBOX 360 (49.99 €)
LEGO Batman 2 DC Super Heroes Nintendo Wii (49.99 €)
LEGO Batman 2 DC Super Heroes Nintendo 3DS (39.99 €)
LEGO Batman 2 DC Super Heroes Nintendo DS (30.00 €)
LEGO Batman 2 DC Super Heroes PC (30.00 €)
It's not yet big guns, but LEGO has put online the microsite dedicated to the Marvel range: marvelsuperheroes.lego.com.
On the menu, a sheet for each character with their physical and mental characteristics ... Still no mention of the Spider-Man theme, only the Avengers and X-Men themes are presented for the moment.
Come on, a little rumor that comes to us from Brickset forum where flump6523 is teasing on the next promotional offer of the now traditional May the fourth be with you... In 2011 we were entitled to a polybag with the Shadow ARF Trooper who had unleashed passions ...
On this forum, we therefore learn that the exclusive minifigure should be chrome. So far, so good. We also learn that the eyes of this minifigure will be orange. And speculation is rife: A reissue of the chrome C-3PO? a chrome Ewok? Difficult to distinguish between the sybinic messages of flump6523 and the expectations of each other which become realities as and when the responses to this topic ...
A chrome C-3PO, why not ... The one printed in 10.000 copies and inserted randomly in sets marketed in the United States in 2007 sells more € 200 on Bricklink currently. A new version would not necessarily lower its cost, especially because of the bag which is almost as valuable as the minifigure itself but would allow more collectors to add this minifigure to their collection.
Minifigs in version Chrome become recurrent at LEGO, Darth Vader (4547551), Stormtrooper (2853590), C-3PO (sw158), so many characters who were entitled to a Luxury version and who are very popular with collectors.
A chrome Ewok? why not ... But it is not yet the year ofEpisode VI: Return of the Jedi in 3D ... Yet the decryption of the topic in question tilts the scales in favor of the shiny teddy bear ... Wait and see, I think we will quickly have the answer to the usual question: What will LEGO offer us for the traditional May 4th promo?
Another view of the Iron Man minifigure that will be delivered in the set 6867 Loki's Cosmic Cube Escape and that is already for sale on eBay. The seller is, need I say this, Mexican.
From the front, the minifigure still passes, but then in profile, it is still very very average for my taste.
Definitely, Mexico is a country that is really one step ahead of the rest of the world when it comes to LEGO ...
The same seller which sells minifigs by buckets long before their marketing also offers the minifig of Captain America which will be delivered in the set 6865 Captain America's Avenging Cycle as well as that of Wolverine that we will discover in the set 6866 Wolverine's Chopper Showdown.
Linconubrick threw up a cool idea in the comments of the previous post: Post in the comments of this post your predictions about the content of the set 9526 Palpatine's Arrest and if one or more of you find the right content with the right staging, I might even be able to possibly find something to reward him / her ...
Knowing that the set will contain 645 pieces, for a weight of 1.20 kg (!), That the box will have the following dimensions: 540 x 282 x 79 mm and that the public price will be 89.99 €, it is up to you to determine the most realistic....
To keep it neat and readable, I suggest you post your forecasts in this format:
9526 Palpatine's Arrest
Scene: Palpatine's Office / Platform, etc ...
Vessel: Yes / No / What, etc ...
Number of minifigs: 1/2/3, etc ...
Minifigs: Machin / Truc / Bidule, etc ...
It's your turn.
