These are brand new videos that grogall posted on the Eurobricks forum and they are very well done. They come from the LEGO cache and feature the sets from the first Star Wars 2012 wave in beautiful, action-packed animations ... And these are in fact the videos that illustrate the products on the official website.

To view them go to the dedicated page: Animations SW 2012. Playback is automatic for all videos, but once finished you can restart playback by clicking on the animation.

What to say?

You may remember the LEGO survey of VIP members in July (see this article): Everyone could choose their favorite minifig among the 48 minifigs of series 1, 2 and 3. (see an example of the email received at the time of the vote)

Well the result of the vote has fallen and LEGO reveals it in the latest VIP newsletter.

And there is something to ask questions ... Either the majority of voters really wanted to get these minifigs and in this case I give up ... Either LEGO takes us for fools.

These five minifigs are, coincidentally, all from Series 3, and LEGO promises that one element will be in a unique color for each of them: The scorpion for the mummy, the fish and the fisherman's hat, the leg of the wood of space pirateEtc. ...

That the elf is in this set which will be exclusively sold to VIP customers (register, it's free anyway ...), I obviously find that rather logical. But for the 4 other minifigs, I wonder what they are doing there ... Of the 3 sets of 16 minifigs each, or 48 minifigs in total, all the voters would have chosen these ... I am doubtful. No Zombie (series 1), no Spartan warrior (series 2) or Robot (series 1) ?

In short, as shown in the picture this set will be available mid 2012 and by then LEGO will tell VIP customers how to buy this not-so-collector's pack via the newsletter.

LEGO Super Heroes DC Universe

As announced a few weeks ago when the space dedicated to the Super Heroes DC Universe range went online, the latter has just been update.

There is now a list of sets in the range, but also a space gathering the biographies of each character. Everything is well done but lacks a little content. We can bet that new sections will be added over the weeks with why not small games and animations featuring the different characters, such as the one on the home page of the space in question.

Logically, LEGO should soon put the same type of mini-site dedicated to the Marvel range online ...
