You know my aversion to bad reviews, I don't hide it. What I expect from a review is not so much the often subjective opinion of the person who makes this presentation of a set from all angles or a string of notes each more stupid than the other, that a presentation in order of the contents of this set.

Finally, I tell myself that I prefer more and more the reviews of a new style that abound on Youtube: The reviews in pictures, without comments or unnecessary blah on the second page of the instruction booklet or on the beauty Le Corbusienne of the edge of the box.

artist, best known for its successful MOCs but sold at a high price, offers us here two excellent quality video reviews of the sets 6863 Batwing Battle Over Gotham City et 6858 Catwoman Catcycle City Chase.

The background music is annoying, but you can mute the sound and enjoy these superb photos expertly put on video so as not to miss any of the new releases to come and get an idea of the content of these sets which promise to be simply exceptional.

Tumbler by CAB & Tiler

He does not hide it, his MOC is largely inspired by the creation of ZetoVince that I presented to you in this article and which you can admire in more detail in his flickr gallery.

The goal for Tiler was to find enough space on this MOC to fit a minifigure inside. The chassis has been completely revisited and modified to articulate around the minifig and the cockpit.

ZetoVince had set the bar very high with his Tumbler, and Tiler has just raised the bar again with this modified and improved version.

White Witch by HJR

White Witch? This name means nothing to you ? And for good reason, you may have never even heard of the animated series. Droids: The Adventures of R2-D2 and C-3PO.

Released in the years 1985/1986, this cartoon whose events took place between Episode III (Revenge of the Sith) and Episode IV (To New Hope) recounted the adventures of the two droids on different planets. A DVD version was released in 2004/2005 which you can get (in English) here:

Star Wars Animated Adventures - Droids (from 12 to 20 €)

It is in this animated series that this C / L-82 Landspeeder appeared modified by its two owners, Thall Joben and Jord Dusat, to participate in the Boonta Speeder Race. This speeder was missing a droid, so R2-D2 was called upon.

Toy maker Kenner Toys has developed a range of Action Figures based on this series, and a model of this White witch had even been presented as a prototype. It was never marketed by Kenner, probably because of the general lack of interest in this cartoon which will not have marked the spirits, even among the most fundamentalist fans.

HJR was therefore inspired by the rare visuals available to reproduce this Landspeeder and his MOC is very successful. It is faithful to the version of Kenner and can accommodate the two minifigs of Thall Joben and Jord Dusat. R2-D2 also has a dedicated slot.

LEGO Super Heroes DC Universe - 4526 Batman, 4527 The Joker & 4528 Green Lantern

With the effective availability of the LEGO Super Heroes DC Universe range, the first reviews are starting to appear.

LuxorV offers us a detailed review of each of the three sets of the UltraBuild range already released: 4526 Batman, 4527 The Joker et 4528 Green Lantern.

I preferred to ask my 8 year old son for his opinion about these figurines that leave me unmoved. I do not find them very inspired and I rather have the impression that we are dealing with characters of the Hero Factory type for which we would have tried to shoehorn elements of the DC Universe license.

My son is also quite skeptical about these characters. For him, the resemblance is not enough with the original heroes that he knows through movies and cartoons. These characters are therefore of little interest to him. In any case much less than the minifigs of the other sets in the range.

If you want to see these three sets in detail, go to the respective reviews posted by LuxorV on the Eurobricks forum. Many photos are available, we discover the boxes, instructions, the inventory of parts provided and the various stages of construction.
