6864 Batmobile and the Two-Face Chase

With the release of the set 6864 Batmobile and the Two-Face Chase, we are going to get a new minifigure of Two-Face alias Double-Face.

This minifigure has an accessory that intrigues some and delights others: the famous Two-Face's Lucky Coin, the silver dollar that Harvey Dent uses to make his decisions.

One side of this coin is just normal, the other is torn. If the lacerated face comes out, Dent will do the harm around him and his evil side will take over. If the other side comes out, it will behave correctly and will not commit crimes ...

This piece is already listed on Bricklink under the name Flat Silver Tile, Round 1 x 1 with Two-Face Corner Pattern (98138pb05), and has already been seen in other colors especially in some Ninjago sets.

The author of the review on FBTB adds that he was even entitled to two Coins in the set's inventory. The presence of this second Coin will it be systematic? It will have to be checked over the course of purchases and reviews that will appear online.

Christo - Custom Joker

I was careful: I waited until the auctions were over to be sure not to miss these minifigs and see me doubled by an avid Brick Heroes reader ... It's petty, I know, but I assume ...

These Christo minifigs are once again exceptional and I couldn't help but struggle in some pretty heated auctions and the prices have skyrocketed a bit.

After Iron Man, War Machine, Spiderman, Georges Lucas, Hulk and Wiplash, I needed these two minifigs of the Joker version Dark Knight. Of course, I didn't resist Captain America and his nemesis Red Skull either.

These minifigs should arrive in about ten days from South Africa, and I'm hopeful that I have made some progress in photography by then to bring you something visually presentable.

Christo regularly re-sells minifigs in his eBay store with currently Captain America, Red Skull, Joker, Iron Man, SpidermanEtc. ...

Be careful not to lose control of your auctions, keep your cool. If you miss an auction other minifigs will be offered for sale, don't get carried away and set a limit.

9489 Endor Rebel Trooper & Imperial Trooper

Two images of these two multi-faction Battle Packs: 9488 ARC Trooper & Commando Droid Battle Pack et 9489 Endor Rebel Trooper & Imperial Trooper.

Obviously, we always want more ... But I like these two Battle Packs. The faction mix in these photos definitely convinced me that LEGO made the right choice, both in terms of playability and the variety of minifigs you get with each set.

The Endor Rebel Troopers will be welcome to help their brothers in arms from the set 8038 Battle of Endor. I would have preferred that LEGO finally produced new blasters. It is high time, and signals have already been sent by many manufacturers of custom parts ...

Concerning the set 9488, I think that ultimately I prefer both Commando Droids au troopers. I think that with a little hindsight, we will quickly get tired of these troopers arch-detailed.

But I'm choosy, I'm not really a type who builds armies with big Battle Packs.

Although after reflection, these Commando Droids, I would like to have twenty, that must make a good squad ....

For the tree and the cannon, I would say nothing more. I've been mean enough tonight ...

You can find these high resolution photos in Grogall's Brickshelf Gallery.

Dark Vador (Darth Vader) by Mehdi Drouillon - All rights reserved - Photo published without modification

Well, he might be angry with me, but I prefer to mention his full name here because of great respect for the work done.

So, I was saying, MED, creator of customs that you know if you follow Brick Heroes, alias Mehdi Drouillon, takes pictures. He does it pretty well and offers great shots.
But there, he offers us a very nice series with Darth Vader (or Darth Vader) as the main subject and some well-felt staging. I selected this shot for you to illustrate this post, but it was only because you had to choose one.

Meeting on his flickr gallery and take the time to take a look at these photos. Their apparent simplicity creates a truly unique ambiance.

7958 LEGO Star Wars Advent Calendar

Some will start to think that I am slanderous, but today I surely have a good alibi. The box of the day of the Advent Calendar reveals a magnificent, what am I saying, sublime droid type MSE-6, also known by the nickname of mouse droid.

If you have the sets 6211 Imperial Star Destroyer ou 10188 Death Star, you know this little robot.

Used primarily as a repair or cleaning droid on both Death stars, or on board Star destroyers, this small shapeless robot sometimes used on certain outposts near the battlefields had the particularity of being able to self-destruct if captured.

Well, mythology aside, this thing is just a vacuum cleaner that rushes through the halls of the Death Star and does not deserve to be given a box.

We will therefore quickly put away these few pieces and we will move on to something else, hoping that tomorrow we will not be entitled to a box of the same ilk ...
