LEGO Super Heroes DC Universe - 4526 Batman, 4527 The Joker & 4528 Green Lantern

With the effective availability of the LEGO Super Heroes DC Universe range, the first reviews are starting to appear.

LuxorV offers us a detailed review of each of the three sets of the UltraBuild range already released: 4526 Batman, 4527 The Joker et 4528 Green Lantern.

I preferred to ask my 8 year old son for his opinion about these figurines that leave me unmoved. I do not find them very inspired and I rather have the impression that we are dealing with characters of the Hero Factory type for which we would have tried to shoehorn elements of the DC Universe license.

My son is also quite skeptical about these characters. For him, the resemblance is not enough with the original heroes that he knows through movies and cartoons. These characters are therefore of little interest to him. In any case much less than the minifigs of the other sets in the range.

If you want to see these three sets in detail, go to the respective reviews posted by LuxorV on the Eurobricks forum. Many photos are available, we discover the boxes, instructions, the inventory of parts provided and the various stages of construction.

7958 LEGO Star Wars Advent Calendar: Lambda-Class Shuttle

Another ship today with this largely average Imperial shuttle. No big innovation in terms of creativity on this model, which however remains immediately identifiable.

She reminds me of the set 20016 BrickMaster Imperial Shuttle released in 2010. The scale is obviously not the same.

If you can, get this set, it is very successful. It is still available for sale on Bricklink for just under 15 €.

6857 The Dynamic Duo Funhouse Escape

This is a well-guarded surprise from LEGO.

No one saw this set coming 6857 The Dynamic Duo Funhouse Escape which has just appeared on the LEGO Shop US...

This shows once again that LEGO still has the ability to not let certain information filter out ....

This set of 380 pieces and 5 minifigs: Batman, Robin, The Joker, The Riddler and Harley Quinn is announced for December 15th. We have been wondering so far if The Riddler and Harley Quinn would be together in a set, so we have the answer.

Sold in the US for $ 39.99, this feature-packed, minifig-packed playset that collectors eagerly await should quickly become the steal of this first wave of LEGO Super Heroes DC Universe sets.

Enthusiasm is already taking hold of the various AFOLs forums where this set is very well received ....

Note that the other sets in the range are also listed on the LEGO Shop US, and announced for December 15. The and 6858 Catwoman Catcycle City Chase is $ 12.99, the set 6863 Batwing Battle Over Gotham City at $ 34.99 and the set 6864 The Batmobile and the Two-Face Chase is $ 49.99.

henchman

Okay, the pun is bad, but the info is interesting: The Joker's henchman minifigure, commonly known as henchman and delivered in the set  6863 Batwing Battle over Gotham City is entitled to a serigraph on the back.

We were not used to having henchmen so screen printed. The 2006 version of this minifig only had a purple torso without any silkscreen printing.

On this new minifigure, the torso is therefore screen-printed on its front with a jacket and a white sweater and on its back with a logo bearing the image of the Joker. The face has also been very worked with this clown makeup.
