Lego batman 2

We have known for a few months now, a video game called LEGO Batman 2: DC Super Heroes is on the rails.

A visual was already available, announcing the presence of at least Superman alongside Batman.

A new visual confirms the upcoming release of the game on most platforms: Nintendo Wii, Nintendo 3DS, XBOX 360 and Playstation (3 / Vita).

The game should bring together all the super heroes of the DC Universe line, Batman, Robin, Superman and Wonder Woman; who will unite to fight against the most emblematic villains: The Joker, Lex Luthor or Catwoman.
No release date has been officially announced, but we can bet on the end of the first quarter of 2012.

Note the mention RP (Rating) at the bottom right of the image indicating that the game is pending classification regarding the minimum age requirement.

9494 Anakin's Jedi Interceptor

So it's off again for a slew of images of the 2012 novelties of the LEGO Star Wars range. We continue with the set 9494 Anakin's Jedi Interceptor.

The device is a nice evolution of the Jedi Interceptor from the set 7256 Jedi Starfighter and Vulture Droid released in 2005 or that of the set 7661 Jedi Starfighter with Hyperdrive Booster Ring released in 2007.

The wings are pleasantly revised and the barrels are well designed. R2-D2 is housed in the left wing, which it therefore crosses completely, and remains supported by a support placed under the wing. The mixture of colors works quite well, in any case on these photos, you will have to see the rendering on the set itself.

The other wing uses the same design with a few flick-fire missiles, a LEGO trademark that serves as an alibi for the gameplay.

Side minifigs, Nute Gunray is simply magnificent, and finally represents a beautiful evolution of the minifig of the set 8036 Separatist Shuttle also seen in the Advent Calendar 7958 LEGO Star Wars Advent Calendar.

Obi-Wan Kenobi and Anakin Skywalker are dressed in silkscreen print halfway between classic Star Wars design and very spirit. cartoon Clone Wars.

A platform allowing to reproduce the duel on Mustafar is provided. A bit of a gadget, but always welcome to bring a little playability to the whole.

You can find these high resolution photos in Grogall's Brickshelf Gallery.

9493 X-Wing Starfighter

Here are some unseen views of the X-Wing from the set 9493 X-Wing Starfighter which allow to better understand the line of this iconic ship of the Star Wars universe. We find the eternal mechanism of deployment of the wings, with the inevitable rubber bands, which always remind me a little of a bad low-end Chinese toy.

Seen from these different angles, we are still dealing with a well-designed ship, without fancy, but which should satisfy X-Wing enthusiasts who have not yet tired of the different editions and allow those who do not yet have it. to get it at a price almost reasonable.

Visually, I find that this X-Wing is still very similar to the one in the set 6212 X-Wing Fighter released in 2006, even if in terms of design there are some interesting innovations to further refine the overall line of this vessel.

6864 Batmobile and the Two-Face Chase

Another review well provided in pictures at FBTB with the set 6864 Batmobile and the Two-Face Chase.

Nothing very exciting to say about this set, almost everything has already been said. If Two-Face alias Double-Face at home sports this magnificent orange and purple costume, it is not a fad of LEGO, it is in reference to a very old comic version of the character. Two-Face is accompanied by two assorted acolytes.

On the vehicle side, the Batmobile is ultimately very classic and in the comic spirit of the set. Once again we find the inevitable flick fire missiles for the playability alibi. The cockpit can accommodate Batman's minifigure and Two-face's truck, matching the villain's costume, also has flick fire missiles, after all why not...

The bank, the safe, the banknotes and the two vehicles give this set many possibilities that the youngest will appreciate: chases, bank attack, etc ...

Finally, this set contains the new orange brick separator recently released.

In short, nothing to hesitate, it will be necessary to obtain this set to obtain the new Two-Face, another Batman minifigure, some additional characters always useful, a Batmobile and a good batch of nice parts in unusual colors.

Fake C-3PO Gold

The Star Wars Advent Calendar R2-Q5 will have done me a favor again tonight. I accompanied it with the two minifigs bought more than a year ago on eBay and which I was telling you about in this article.

In the top photo, the version Gold of this minifig. The legs do not hold on their own to the torso, the head has great difficulty in turning and the arms no longer pass along the torso due to the chrome overlay.

Many details present on the C-3PO minifigs produced by LEGO are missing here because they are covered with a thick layer of plating. The eyes are coarse, the plastic welds are thickened, and the hands no longer rotate.

Below is the version Silver of this minifig. We can think of her as representing TC-14, the servant droid of Nute Gunray. Here also the layer of metal which covers the plastic deforms the minifigure and amplifies all the defects.

In both cases the legs are completely disarticulated, the plastic having undoubtedly undergone a deformation during the tackle.

Be careful, you can still find this type of minifig for sale on eBay. Versions of Boba Fett are also circulating and are sold as official prototypes. Don't be fooled, the photos on the ads are misleading and you will be disappointed.
