We stay in Snowspeeders on a miniature scale with this scene from Omar Ovalle in which Wedge Antilles is working to unbalance an AT-AT with the cable of his machine.

The Snowspeeder is clearly in the spirit of the mini set 4486 AT-ST & Snowspeeder released in 2003. AT-AT in midi format is interesting. It's a bit clumsy, but visually cohesive, and it perpetuates the vintage side of the early 2000s LEGO Star Wars range.

I take this opportunity to offer you the MOC of Brickdoctor, still motivated by the LEGO Star Wars Advent Calendar: A T-47 Snowspeeder in Midi-Scale format really successful. The .lxf file can be downloaded here: 2011SWAdventDay12.lxf.

If you follow this blog, it has not escaped your notice that LEGO offers a printed comic with most of the sets in the Super Heroes range (6857, 6860, 6862, 6863 and 6864). Only the 6858 set is delivered without this paper comic.

Hinckley posts on Eurobricks a review of the set 6862 Superman vs Power Armor Lex in which he posts some pictures of this long awaited mini comic. In the end, nothing to whip a cat. The comic is not localized according to the language of the country of marketing, and for good reason: the only texts present are onomatopoeias typical of the world of superheroes (POW, BOOM, BAM, etc.) and therefore do not require linguistic adaptation.

The drawings seem to be of a good level but we are closer to cartoon than Stan Lee comic. As for the format, we get a mini-brochure, without a hard cover.

I'm a little disappointed, I expected something a little more elaborate. But let's not sulk, it's included, it's included in the price and we'll do with it.

Tomorrow then, because today it is not by showing the greatest originality that LEGO has decided to surprise us.

We open the box and the bag, we assemble the few parts and tadaaaaaa: It looks like a Snowspeeder. But it is, my good sir ...

The contract is fulfilled, the machine is rather nice, but that's what, we wonder what to do with it. Exhibit it next to its miniature fellows just to see what it looks like in a group? Disassemble it without regrets and hop in the loose? I wasn't sure what to do with it, so I walked around with it all evening, putting it on haphazard wanderings between the kitchen and the living room.

Like what, I am slanderous, but it is ultimately very well this Snowspeeder. Can't wait for tomorrow.

Otherwise, if you want a real Advent Calendar with cool ships, take a look at that of Mini LEGOmaniac, his father's son who is definitely not lacking in talent. It is to be seen in the dedicated topic at Brickpirate.

FBTB publishes a review of the set 6862 Superman vs. Power Armor Lex, with beautiful images. If you don't want to read what the guy wrote, I'll summarize it here in two lines: The set is super-mega-cool except for the scene on the box which the man finds improbable in Superman's universe. .. There follows a whole theory on kryptonite, Wonder Woman and its role as victim, etc, etc ....

In short, to get to the point, go directly to the dedicated flickr gallery to this set and admire the great shots in it. For the rest, you are able to form your own opinion.

Contest winners Wheels of Justice on FBTB have been designated and it is two MOCs I was telling you about here that are winning the bid: This is theElectric BATWInG Batmobile by SPARKART! and Green [Hornet] Lantern Car by Carson Hart. These two achievements had greatly pleased the community and this victory is deserved.

The MOC of SPARKART !, as I said a few weeks ago, has the merit of offering a very modern alternative to the classic Batmobiles that we know and in the spirit of the prototypes offered by the automotive industry at all the shows of the planet.

Note that SPARKART! provides the .lxf file of its MOC (electric_batwing_batmobile_by_sparkart.lxf) which can thus be ordered on LEGO Design by ME for a total amount of approximately $ 50. Hurry, this service will be definitively stopped in January 2012 ...
