You have already seen the famous Death Star to hang on your tree for Christmas. This year, Chris McVeigh put the place back with this magnificent Millennium Falcon to hang from the branches of your tree.
And you can do it with ease thanks to the kindness of this MOCeur which offers instructions in excellent quality pdf format to download via the links below for these two creations:
Millennium Falcon - Instructions pdf
It also offers on his website the list of essential parts for these two MOCs as well as the files in .lxf format. You will also find some other very interesting Christmas themed creations.
Live from Mexico, the other land of the LEGO, here are some more images of the minifigs of 2012. We discover here different versions of Batman, including one equipped with the jetpack, which will probably be delivered in the set 6860 Batcave. On these two visuals we also discover some of the weapons with which our super heroes will be equipped. Harley Quinn and the Joker will feature Tommy Guns and Poison Ivy, Harley Quinn's best friend, sports a poisonous vegetation accessory.
The announcements of the sale of these minifigs are multiplying like hot cakes, and I find astonishing the lack of reaction from LEGO, much more quick to harass me with threatening messages when I post stamped images. Confidential ou preliminary on my blogs ....
These images have already been around the world, and these minifigs sold alone are likely to come from a manufacturing unit. None of the sets announced for 2012 are currently offered for sale on eBay ou Free market. It is probably easier to leave a factory with a few minifigs in your pockets, than to leave with a big box under your arm ...
There are photos that speak to you and others that don't. This creation of Taylor Place Productions is part of the first category. Simple, effective, well highlighted and photographed with care, this symbol is definitely in the Dark Knight spirit.
Sometimes all it takes is a few parts and a little genius to produce THE photo.
We are not going to draw conclusions too quickly, but this teaser from the American channel Cartoon Network presenting the DC programs which will be broadcast in 2012 contains some astonishing images.
We discover among other things some images from the animated series Batman, Green Lantern, Teen Titans and Young Justice.
But at the heart of this teaser, a few seconds are more important than others, and here they are on the screenshots below ...
The part of the teaser featuring the short films that will be released features what appears to be a LEGO Batman cartoon. We see Batman piloting a Batboat that is nothing like the one in the set 7780 The Batboat: Hunt for Killer Croc released in 2006. We also see what appears to be the Joker's Scuba Jet, and we discover a little further the Joker himself armed with a rocket launcher.
The Batman minifigure appears to be the one that will be delivered in the set 6860 Batcave.
The Batboat, if that's what it is here, as I'm hesitant with the Batwing itself, is a lot different than the one already released. At the front we find the same yellow marks as the one that can be seen on the Batwing of the set 6863. The Joker's Scuba Jet clearly displays the colors of the helicopter of the set 6863 Batman vs. The Joker and the Joker logo on the front.
The Joker minifig is the one planned for 2012 in the set 6863 Batman vs. The Joker, and which could be provided in a second set featuring Batman and his Batboat against the Joker and his Scuba jet ....
So, can we draw any conclusions from these images?
Probably not by hoping for a set bringing together Batman and the Joker with their respective machines, but we will be entitled to these minifigs and these machines during the second DC wave. I put my hand to cut ...
Below is the full DC Nation 2012 teaser.
At this price, you will still have to put your hands in the dough. But beyond the good idea of Brook, an American military woman who blogs about DIY and various and varied tips, I retain the main motivation surrounding the manufacture of this display.
Brook decided to make a storage rack for his son's minifigs. Using a repainted, black-dressed golf ball display, she created a wall-mounted storage space to match her six-year-old. So he can enjoy his minifigs, play with them and then display them on this frame attached to the wall.
The making-off of this nice display and kid-friendly can be seen on Brook's blog.
Because minifigs are also and above all for children ...
