Nightwing Hoverbike by zenn

Another nice MOC as part of the competition organized on Eurobricks, with this very well designed hoverbike and presented on a support that conceals a construction pearl: If you look closely at the base of the MOC you will discover the Batman symbol reproduced in a very intelligent by this MOCeur.

The debate is already emerging about the paternity of this technique on flickr. zenn would have failed to credit proud love for this representation of the symbol (see image below) ....
Unless the two MOCeurs had the same idea to achieve this result .....

Anyway, this MOC which also features Mr Freeze and the Joker is a great success. The machine is interesting, the base is ingeniously designed and the final rendering is worthy of a good place in the competition Eurobricks LEGO Batman Contest.

Lego santa yoda

This year, the Americans will be able to participate in the construction of a giant maxifig of the Santa Yoda 12 feet high or about 3.60m and based on the minifig which is available in the set. 7958 LEGO Star Wars Advent Calendar.

The operation will take place from November 18 to 20, 2011 in San Francisco. Suddenly, this information in itself is not very interesting for us, forgotten AFOLs of our old Europe.

But what is already more interesting is that this construction will take place via the usual process used in this type of event that LEGO regularly organizes elsewhere than here: The public is invited to build "superbricks"(4 x the size of a classic 2x4 brick) which will then be assembled to create the giant maxifig. Each brick of the basic model you see in the image above alongside the minifig from set 7958 will therefore be reproduced with a Superbrick in the giant model.

the website dedicated to Santa Yoda will only open its doors on Monday, November 21, 2011.

Electric BATWInG Batmobile by SPARKART!

SPARKART! offers us here a beautiful creation with this new generation Batmobile which gives pride of place to aerodynamics and clean lines. The rear spoiler is exceptionally successful and reminds us that this machine is that of the hero of Gotham City.

For the record, SPARKART! defines his machine as an electric vehicle packed with features that manage aerodynamics.

This MOC has the merit of offering a very modern alternative to the classic Batmobiles that we know and in the spirit of the prototypes offered by the automotive industry at all shows on the planet.

This Electric BATWInG Batmobile could easily succeed the Tumbler in the Batman universe ...

SPARKART has made available the .lxf file of this MOC.

Jabba's Palace Door by lego envy

Well this MOC, even if it is nice and properly made, is only a pretext to put a layer on one of the many modifications made by Georges Lucas to Blu-ray version from the Star Wars saga.

The MOCeur here tried to reconstruct the scene of the arrival of C-3PO and R2-D2 in front of the palace of Jabba The Hutt in theEpisode VI, and it did so while keeping the overall size reasonable.

Georges Lucas decided that the palace door was definitely not impressive enough in the original version and he integrated a door which becomes ridiculously large with great reinforcements of digital effects.

I'll let you watch the video below and see for yourself. Since Jabba The Hutt's palace is not an airport hangar, did this door have to be enlarged so much?
