In the news, the upcoming opening of a space dedicated to Star Wars at California LEGOLAND, in March 2011.

FBTB publishes a report on the press conference announcing the event and gives some details on the models which are being assembled for the various scenes which will be presented.

In all, these are 7 dioramas on the SW theme on which the LEGO team in charge, made up of 8 designers and dex specialists in electric animation, worked for about 13 months and which required the use of 1.5 million bricks .

In its edition of December 25, Le Monde delivers an interesting article on the LEGO phenomenon, with a history of the brick and the company of Billund (Denmark), but no scoop on the projects to come.

Connoisseurs will not learn anything new and the article is worth reading here.

In addition, do not hesitate to inform me of press releases about LEGOs, I would gladly put the articles online on the blog.

Already more interesting, and still on Brickset, a preview of the new BrickMaster 2011 set, the 20019-1: Slave I which seems rather successful.

 

As usual, you will have to fight on eBay to afford this set of 76 pieces.

Without% 2Btitre 2Seen on Brickset and everywhere, the new mini sets 30052-1: AAT & 30053-1: Venator Class Republic Attack Cruiser do not seem to cause enthusiasm for their design ....

Collectors will actively seek them out anyway and if you are eager to reproduce them the instructions can be found here for the 30052 et there for the 30053 for download.

No availability date is known for the moment, nor the distribution channel that will be used.
