On the sidelines of the three boxes inspired by the video game Luigi's Mansion announced a few days ago and scheduled for January 2022, LEGO unveils four other new references from the LEGO Super Mario range that will also be available from the beginning of next year:
|
For those who ignore the many playsets in this range but who, for lack of minifigs to get their teeth into in this range, bring together the characters to build in bags, know that this collection of characters will expand from January 2022 ten new references sold € 3.99 each with Mechakoopa, Paracoccinelly (Para-Biddybud), Butitine (Stingby), Voyou (Bully), Congélo (Freezie), Fourmili (Ant Trooper), Goomin (Goombrat), Crapognon (Coin Coffer) ), Raplapa (Scaredy Rat) and a Little Penguin (Baby Penguin).
These four boxes are not yet listed on the official online store, so we will have to wait a little longer to have an official confirmation of the public prices indicated above.
Two new LEGO products on the theme of the Chinese New Year 2022 have been officially unveiled in China on the occasion of the China International Import Expo (CIEE) with on the one hand a product that highlights traditional Chinese activities on the occasion of the end of the year celebrations and on the other a box that features some winter activities.
2022 will be the year of the tiger, so we will find a costumed minifigure in one of these two boxes. The Chinese god of prosperity will also be present in the form of a pretty minifigure in the other set. Fun fact: we find characters from the sets 80101 Chinese New Year's Eve Dinner (2020) et 80107 Spring Lantern Festival (2021) in the small staging of the set 80108 Lunar New Year Traditions. Availability announced for December 25, 2021 in Asia, as of January 1, 2022 in the rest of the world.

LEGO did not fail to participate in the party around the availability of the first trailer of the series Star Wars: The Book of Boba Fett the distribution of which will begin on December 29 on the Disney + platform with the posting of a poster presenting the bounty hunter seated on his throne.
Beyond the nod to a poster used by Disney to tease the series on social networks, we can also see a possible first glimpse of the content of the set. 75326 Boba Fett's Palace that rumor has been telling us for several weeks already. With a public price that would be set at 99.99 €, we suspect that LEGO will not offer us an entire palace and that we will probably have to settle for a few elements of interior fittings with possibly the throne visible on the visual above. . To be checked in a few months, the set is in principle only scheduled for March 2022.
The minifig used on this poster is not new, it is the one available in the set 75312 Boba Fett's Starship on sale since this summer.
A few days before the launch of the second phase of crowdfunding of the Bricklink Designer Program 2021, we now know the official LEGO references and the public prices in € of the different sets that will be offered from 9 November at 21:00 p.m.
We will also remember that the project Brickwest Studios by BrickyBricks82 (3741 pieces - $ 279.99) was withdrawn from this second phase of funding due to the product theme that could be associated with the incident that occurred a few days ago in the USA on the set of the western Rust. This project is therefore postponed to the next wave and it is replaced by the set 910023 Venetian Houses (244.99 €).
As for the first phase of crowdfunding, only the first five of the nine projects proposed to reach 3000 pre-orders will go into production phase with a quantity capped at 10.000 copies per reference.

If you are a perfectionist and believe that the packaging should live up to the gift it contains, know that the manufacturer Hallmark offers beautifully illustrated, officially licensed bags and wrapping paper that will showcase the LEGO products that you intend to install at the foot of the tree.
These two products are a bit expensive, but the effect is guaranteed and the bag is thick enough to be reusable. The wrapping paper sheets are relatively thick, they come in pairs and they measure 50 x 70 cm, so they will not be suitable for larger sets. The bag is 39cm high, 31cm wide and 14cm deep. Each of these two items comes with a cute card that allows you to add a nice little note or the name of the gift recipient. The hardest part in history: trying to retrieve the bag when the recipient of the gift opened it.
