lego ideas 21328 seinfeld box front

LEGO today unveils the set 21328 Seinfeld, a new reference in the LEGO Ideas range inspired by the project by Brent Waller. In the box which will be sold as a VIP preview from July 21 at the public price of € 79.99, 1326 pieces to assemble a reproduction of Jerry Seinfeld's apartment seen on screen in the series to the glory of this actor of stand-ups and five minifigs: Jerry Seinfeld, Elaine Marie Benes, Cosmo Kramer, George Louis Costanza and Newman.

Do not force yourself, many of us have never watched a single episode of this cult sitcom on the other side of the Atlantic, whose 9 seasons were broadcast in France at the end of the 90s, with in passing a very average dub which slightly distorts the humorous tone of the original version.

To put it simply, you take the career of Gad Elmaleh, and you have a very precise idea of the type of humor popularized by Jerry Seinfeld, the French comedian who happily drew from the jokes of the latter.

The filming studio measures 32 cm long by 18 cm deep, it uses the recipe already used for the LEGO Ideas sets 21302 The Big Bang Theory (2015) et 21319 Central Perk (2019), both also based on popular sitcoms.

Each episode of the first seasons of the series begins with a Jerry Seinfeld sketch in front of the wall of a Comedy Club, LEGO also includes the scene in the box.

This set from the LEGO Ideas range does not escape the stickers with about twenty stickers, four of which are used to dress the doors of the apartment ...

We will talk about the content of this new reference in the LEGO Ideas range in a few days on the occasion of a "Review ".

05/07/2021 - 13:16 In my opinion... LEGO ICONS Reviews

lego gwp 40486 adidas originals superstar 1

Today we take a quick look at the small serves currently offered from € 95 purchase and without range restriction on the official online store: the LEGO reference 40486 adidas Originals Superstar with its 92 pieces and its minifig disguised as a shoebox.

We are not going to lie, fortunately this product valued by LEGO at 12.99 € is offered, knowing that the minimum purchase required for it to be automatically added to an order is rather substantial. The box is pretty, it changes us a bit from the usual packaging, but the content does not in my view justify paying for one or more sets at a high price at LEGO.

The mini shoe to assemble is in my opinion even more successful than the one in the set 10282 adidas Originals Superstar (€ 99.99) marketed since July 1st. A white 4x4 plate out of the LEGO Super Mario universe on the front, a few pneumatic tips to tie the laces and six roughly white bands on the sides, the result is almost convincing.

The difference in color between the white surface of the bands and the rest of the parts is, however, unforgivable for a derivative product so worked out and the presence of two stickers does not help matters. It is the box that makes the product "sell", LEGO has put the package on the packaging and has not made the effort to pad the two elements bearing the logo of its partner ...

lego gwp 40486 adidas originals superstar 2 2

The minifig delivered in this box with a microphone and a boombox reuses the torso of one of the figurines sold in 2018 in the series 18 (ref. 71021), which here becomes a shoebox thanks to the addition of a plate on which we stick a sticker. It's original, the effect is there.

In short, if you do not want to treat yourself to a LEGO product in the glory of the brand adidas invoiced 100 €, you can always keep on your shelves a souvenir of this collaboration between the two brands by taking advantage of the offer in course which should in principle last until July 14th. If you want to get a pair of mini shoes, you will have to try a second separate order, hoping that LEGO will deliver you a second small promotional set and not remove it from your new order with the motif "One set per household".

Note: The set presented here, provided by LEGO, is as usual involved. Deadline fixed at July 18, 2021 next at 23pm. For newcomers, know that you just need to post a comment to participate in the draw.

Update : The winner was drawn and was notified by email, his nickname is indicated below. Without a response from him to my request for contact details within 5 days, a new winner will be drawn.

lego ideas 21328 seinfeld teaser 2021

You know the procedure, LEGO is going today with a teaser which announces the imminent presentation of the set LEGO Ideas 21328 Seinfeld based on the Brent Waller project, an "idea" which had been able to gather the 10000 supports necessary for its passage in the review phase and which had then been definitively validated.

We do not see much of the staging planned to pay tribute to the cult sitcom, we just discover the back of the minifigs of Cosmo Kramer, George Costanza, Jerry Seinfeld, Elaine Benes and Newman. for the rest, see you in a few days.

We will have the opportunity to talk about this box in more detail on the occasion of the "Review "which will follow the official announcement.

lego starwars 75311 imperial armored marauder 7

Today we are quickly interested in the content of the LEGO Star Wars set 75311 Imperial Armored Marauder, a box of 478 pieces which allows us to assemble an armored transporter seen on the screen in the 12th episode of the series The Mandalorian.

Ce Trexler 906 Armored Marauder is actually a variant of the K79-S80 model seen in the Star Wars Rebels animated series and then in the 7th episode of the first season of The Mandalorian series. The device based on a toy invented by Kenner in the 80s was also present in the Battle Pack 75078 Imperial Troop Transport marketed in 2015.

The transporter shrunk a bit when converting to the LEGO format but overall it retains the aesthetic of the vehicle seen in the series. Almost everything is there and the designer has not sacrificed the playability and the space available inside.

Two miniatures can be installed with the fingertips inside the machine via the hatch placed on the roof, the pilot has easy access to the controls thanks to the two movable panels placed at the front, a shooter can be installed at the back and Greef Karga can stand on the roof.

Side hatches provide access to the interior space and store the two pad-printed boxes provided. Difficult to do better in a machine as compact as this one, the designer could have sacrificed some of these spaces without being blamed for it.

Four Stud Shooters are available, two of which are placed on the rear turret which is unfortunately not orientable on the vertical axis. The rotation of the element is however synchronized with that of the seat placed at the rear of the vehicle, it is an interesting function even if we can no longer really see the shooter when the rear door is closed.

The two side guns are foldable towards the cabin but they are mounted on a free axis which does not allow them to stay in place and they therefore tend to deploy as soon as the machine is tilted to one side or from the side. other. Nothing serious.

If you feel like you've already seen the two gray boxes somewhere, it's in the set 75290 Mos Eisley Winery marketed in 2020 that they made their first appearance in triplicate.

Overall, I think we get here a very honest interpretation of the machine seen in the series and the few features offered are enough to convince me that the designer took the file seriously. We take advantage of both the detailed exterior appearance of this armored transport and the few interior spaces, difficult to access for some but available.

lego starwars 75311 imperial armored marauder 9

The minifig endowment here is rather interesting even if at least one key character is missing from the sequence that inspires the product, the Mythrol.

We have Greef Karga in his uniform as Nevarro's administrative manager with impeccable pad printing, two Stormtroopers and an Artillery Stromtrooper. Greef Karga has only one face, the fault of a very short hair on the back which would eventually show the beard on the other side. The red area of the torso and legs is roughly matched with the mass-tinted arms and the continuity of the tunic is almost perfect.

The Mortar (or Artillery) Stormtrooper only first appears onscreen in Chapter 14 (The Tragedy) of the series, so one might wonder what he's doing here. He could have been replaced by a Scout Trooper on his Speeder Bike to be able to really reproduce the chase seen on the screen and the minifig provided here would have been more useful in the set. 75312 Boba Fett's Starship.

The minifigure is well executed, it is consistent with how it looks on screen except maybe for the yellow patterns which in my opinion should be darker. The pad printed patterns on the back of the minifigure struggle to embody the bag loaded with ammunition carried by the soldier but LEGO compensates by providing a few parts and two white saber handles that do the trick.

The two Stormtroopers consist of elements available for several years at LEGO, the torso and the legs since 2014, the helmet since 2019, and the manufacturer adds a little diversity here with two new heads. Their presence does not seem essential to me in this box but everyone knows that a collector can never have enough Stormtroopers in his drawers.

lego starwars 75311 imperial armored marauder 10

This small set, which will be sold at the public price of € 39.99 from August 1, has, once is not customary, the merit of being attractive at least as much for the construction as for the figures that accompany it.

This is not always the case in the LEGO Star Wars lineup and this version of the armored transporter seen in the series strikes me as particularly successful because it manages to combine a very acceptable aesthetic with optimal playability. Too bad for the cast that accompanies the machine, with a brand absent and a little off-topic, but we will do with (or without).

Note: The set presented here, provided by LEGO, is as usual involved. Deadline fixed at July 17, 2021 next at 23pm. For newcomers, know that you just need to post a comment to participate in the draw.
