I must admit that I smiled a little while reading the info published by FBTB: The series 4 of the LEGO Star Wars Planet Series range will not be released in the USA. At all. Nada. Nothing.
Below, the text of the message received by FBTB to "explain" this localized cancellation:
"... The second wave of 2013 LSW planets are no longer launching in the US. They will be available in other global countries, however. As you know, some markets carry slightly different collections depending on their market dynamics, so the strategic decision was made not to launch them in the US ..."
The reason put forward to justify the cancellation of the distribution on the American market of the three sets concerned remains vague, but there must be some marketing geniuses at the back of an office who, at the sight of their Excel table grouping the figures of this range, have decided not to fill the shelves of US supermarkets unnecessarily.
In short, if you want to bet on the upcoming demand for these three sets: 75009 Hoth & SnowSpeeder, 75010 Endor & B-Wing et 75011 Aldeeran & Tantive IV, you know what you have left to do...
