If you are a VIP member at LEGO, you have received an email offering to answer several questions about the brand's loyalty program, how it works and the benefits offered in order to "improve your VIP experience "...
In the middle of the headings usually present in this type of survey which make it possible to qualify your profile, there are some questions which seem to confirm that the VIP program in its current form could be brought to evolve according to the answers of the customers.
Little reminder: The VIP program is a loyalty program identical to that of many other brands: Registration is free and each purchase made gives the right to a capital of points (1 euro purchase = 1 point) that is possible to use on a subsequent purchase to get a 5% discount (100 points = 5 euros).
The survey proposes to redefine the type of "reward" obtained during a purchase and includes the possibility of a lower discount than that currently in force but applicable immediately or the replacement of the discount by an "exclusive" gift.
Further on, we are asked a question that only makes sense if we read the title carefully: We are talking about an alternative to VIP points, not a supplement. The question therefore relates to the replacement (or exchange) of VIP points for other more or less interesting advantages, some of which however have a monetary value, such as free express delivery or an exclusive gift.
The VIP program in its current form is not an overly generous loyalty program, it usually gets a product at the same price as at other merchants that are positioned slightly below the LEGO retail price.
But the 5% discount on a future purchase remains a significant advantage, especially when there is no alternative to obtaining certain exclusive boxes at high prices. As a regular customer of the LEGO Shop, I prefer to keep such a low discount rather than redeeming it for virtual (Exclusive content on the LEGO site ...) and theoretical (Exclusive gift which is not) advantages. not really...).
If you have an opinion on the subject, come and share it in the comments.
Since we are talking about VIP points, the March Store Calendar confirms the doubling of points for any purchase from March 14 to 29:
- Noshimor : It's nice, but a little high for my student budget...
- kemosabe : All your comments on this forum follow one another and are similar...
