Better late than never. To celebrate May the 4th, LEGO has posted two posters to be collected against a more or less large handful of points on the VIP rewards center.

On the one hand, an "exclusive" poster but with an unlimited edition, valued by LEGO at 7.99 € and accessible against 650 VIP points (4.33 € in exchange value).

On the other, a poster limited to 5000 copies and valued by LEGO at 34.99 € for which you have to exchange 3500 VIP points (23.33 € in exchange value).

Both posters are in the same format: 260 x 168 mm.

Today we take a quick look at the VIP keychain 5007403 Mandalorian Beskar Keychain which will be offered from May 1, 2022 on the Shop. You will have to spend at least €70 on products from the LEGO Star Wars range and be a member of the VIP program to get this outsourced bauble like all the other keychains already offered by LEGO at Chinese company RDP.

The object is delivered in a cardboard box with a foam insert that protects it, it's sexy. And I must admit that this is the first time that I have been enthusiastic about one of the derivative products that are not real LEGO: reproducing a block from Beskar is an excellent idea and the realization seems to me to be quite acceptable here. The grooves even extend over the edges of the object and there are only the inscriptions on the back of the block to distract the fan who will be happy to be able to hang their keys there and scratch the doors of their car with them.

The only downside: the very rough finish of this metal key ring with a block of Beskar, some areas of which are very damaged, at least on the copy I received. It's mass production and I think LEGO has pulled the prices down, but an effort out of respect for anyone who's going to spend their money buying stuff at full price to get the thing would have been the welcome.

Do you have to spend 70 € to get this keychain? It's up to you, but as far as I'm concerned, I'm more interested in this key ring, which I find really successful, than in the two other LEGO products that will be offered subject to purchase during the May the 4th operation.

LEGO has also lowered its ambitions with this new offer, you had to spend at least €100 on products from the LEGO Star Wars range to get the keychain 5006363 Star Wars Han Solo Keychain in October 2020, it will be €70 this time.

LEGO continues to exploit the vein of decorative pewter plates with two new references available on the VIP rewards center: the manufacturer now offers this product under the Rebuild the World and Ninjago banners.

These two new plates are identical to the different versions already available: the VIP plate 5007016 VIP 1950's Retro Tin offered in November 2021 from 250 € of purchase on the official online store and the CITY and Friends plates available since February 2022. These are 30x15 cm plates, without wall fixing or crutch on the back and they are made in China by a subcontractor specializing in derivative products for companies, society RDP Creative.
