Some details about the Ultimate Collector Series label

In order to clarify the situation regarding the appellation "Ultimate Collector Series"and its use for certain sets in the LEGO Star Wars range, the LEGO marketing department provides some explanations as to the future of this name:

"... The decision has been made to change the packaging for future “LEGO® exclusive” Star Wars ™ sets to include the UCS seal and de-link from the core Star Wars packaging.

In addition to the packaging change an update has been made to the building instructions.

The building instructions will have additional pages detailing the model's connection to the movie and its development process.

Much as the Creator Expert badge differentiates the larger models from the core assortment the goal of this change is to better communicate to builders that these sets represent our biggest building challenge in the LEGO® Star Wars ™ theme ...".

In short, the next exclusive LEGO Star Wars sets will be equipped, as is the case for the set 75059 Sandcrawler, of the label "Ultimate Collector Series"in order to clearly identify them and separate them from the rest of the range.

The packaging will therefore be different from that of the sets System and the instruction booklets will be supplemented with content related to the movie model used as the basis for the set and will include information on the development and design of the LEGO model.
