It's almost irrelevant but not totally: I have long looked for an affordable device capable of sealing a bag without having to use the large machines seen in the butcher's section of our supermarkets.
The problem arises in particular when I offer a set that I have assembled beforehand to give my opinion on the blog and which must then be carefully repacked to send it to the winner of the raffle organized on the blog.
So I bought the branded heat sealer innovate sold for 23.99 € at amazon hoping this little device would do the job. Be careful, the object only welds, it does not create an air vacuum. For the use I make of it, this is more than enough: LEGO parts do not need to be vacuumed to be preserved.
So I can put the LEGO parts back in their original bags and seal everything. No more parts escaping in the box during transport! I have also already repacked a few sets assembled for fun and then carefully put away to move on to other boxes.
All this to tell you that if you are looking for a device capable of properly sealing a bag of LEGO parts (Getting started is quick, getting to close a bag properly takes a little longer), this affordable heat sealer will suffice.
It works with two AA batteries, the support is equipped with a magnet to stick it on the fridge and you can justify its purchase from your dear and tender by the countless possibilities offered by this compact and design heat sealer (Close a bag of chips started!) ...
More information and visuals on the product sheet at amazon.
Below, an example of welding carried out by me with the device.
