A LEGO set for the inauguration of the Nyiregyháza factory

Today was the official inauguration of the LEGO factory located in Nyiregyháza (Hungary). This new factory, which will be fully operational in 2015 and will employ nearly 1500 people, will gradually replace the current production structure already in place at Nyiregyháza.

For the occasion, the above set, printed in around 2000 copies, was offered to a few lucky chosen ones, employees of the brand.

This is a reproduction of the new factory, and LEGO has already offered several sets representing its production structures as the reference. 4000002 LOM Molding (Reproduction of the factory located in Monterey, Mexico) in 2011, the reference 4000005 KOM Molding (Reproduction of the factory located in Billund) in 2012 or the reference 4000006 Kladno Campus (Reproduction of the factory located in Kladno, Czech Republic) in 2012.
