LEGO Star Wars Ultimate Collector Series sets: presentation plates soon to be pad-printed

This is the good news of the day for fans of the LEGO Star Wars range Ultimate Collector Series : during the Fan Media Days which are currently taking place in Billund in Denmark and which I am attending, LEGO has announced to us via two designers of the range that the presentation stickers of the UCS sets will "one day" be replaced by pad-printed plates.

It has been impossible for us to find out more about this modification which should satisfy anyone who sees their stickers deteriorating over the months and years on their shelves, especially in terms of delays, but I think we can hope that the set which should be marketed in May 2023 will benefit from this welcome evolution of the finish of these high-end products intended for an audience of demanding collectors. Nothing guaranteed at this stage, the two designers were not very talkative on the subject on the sidelines of this announcement.
