On its official store, LEGO is highlighting an offer that will allow you to obtain a LEGO Star Wars "mystery" box from April 11 (ref. 5005704) from € 85 purchase of a product from the LEGO Star Wars range. The offer will be valid until April 15th.

In the box with a total value of 29.95 € max., No mystery, you will find five polybags and other key chains among those listed below:

You will also have the right to participate in a raffle to try to win one of the three collector products below, including a copy of TC-14 with an autograph of comedian John Fensom who wore the droid costume in The Phantom Menace. This collector's version of the droid is identical to the polybag minifig 5000063 from 2012.

Will also be involved, a version of R2-D2 in platinum (produced in five copies) and an R2-D2 in silver (produced in 10 copies).

It's April 1st and aside from the usual more or less successful jokes that will invade your screens today, LEGO is launching some new products on its official online store and offering the Pod 853958 Chicken Skater from 35 € of purchase without restriction of range. The offer will remain valid at best until April 22, depending on available stocks.

The five LEGO Star Wars sets planned to celebrate the 20 years of the range are now available. I will offer you this week a "Review "of each of these boxes, just to see if it is really worth paying nearly 250 € to participate in the party:

Almost everything has already been said about this box (see my "Review " at this address), it's now up to you to see if the tribute to the cult 1928 animated short is worth spending € 89.99 to have the pleasure of assembling the boat and owning the Luxe versions of Mickey's minifigs and Minnie.

As you already know if you follow, there are usually only two complete sets of 18 characters in each box of 60 sachets of the second set of LEGO Disney collectible minifigs (LEGO ref. 71024).

To complete a third series, you will miss the three nephews of Donald who are delivered only in two copies in each box.

That being said, if you prefer to purchase a complete box at a preferential rate rather than try your luck on the shelves of your usual toy store, know that Minifigure Maddness already offers the complete box pre-order at the price of 189.99 €.

If you are LEGO VIP program member, you have received an email announcing ... changes based on feedback collected from customers.

LEGO remains for the moment very evasive on the evolution of its loyalty program, promises us that improvements are planned and that they will be effective within two months. As it exists today, the VIP program has become obsolete anyway with its modest 5% discount on a future purchase. Most stores or brands that have a loyalty program do better than that.

Without further clarification, LEGO therefore announces the upcoming launch of a new online platform "... which will introduce new ways to accumulate and deduct your points ..."

LEGO also indicates that the VIP points will become a currency of exchange which will allow, as is the case today, to continue to obtain reductions on future purchases but also "... use your points via the new rewards platform, accessible via the web ..."

We do not know anything about these future rewards, let's hope that they are products (exclusive or not) exchangeable against a certain number of points and not simple virtual contents without great interest.

The only change confirmed to date concerns the lifespan of your points which until now expired in any case on December 31st two years after being obtained: "... Note that all your points will now be valid for 18 months and this period of validity will be reset each time you accumulate or deduct points..."

Wait and see, as the other would say ...

Here we go again for a week of doubled VIP points on the LEGO Shop and in the LEGO Stores. The offer is valid on the whole catalog, but you already know that only a few exclusive products or those that are difficult to find elsewhere really become more interesting thanks to this small discount.

Those who missed the offer of the collector's key ring offered with the LEGO Creator set 10265 Ford Mustang can console themselves by taking advantage of this new operation to pay a little less for the set.

It's a shame, this offer falls just before the release of the novelties scheduled for April 1 ...
