11/06/2013 - 10:24 LEGO Star Wars

Let's go for the new generation of Star Wars licensed video games that Electronic Arts recently took control (See this article): Here is the first Teaser of Star Wars: Battlefront (undoubtedly provisional title), new opus of the successful franchise, unveiled at E3 (The high mass of the video game).

Electronic Arts has announced that the game will be developed by studio DICE (Battlefield 3) and that it will use the Frostbite 3 graphics engine. The teaser of barely 30 seconds does not reveal much but it is obviously exciting, the idea that EA will sell us as usual a little DLC galore less.

No information on the platforms concerned, nor an official release date for the moment.

On the LEGO side, I expect to see one or two boxes arriving on the shelves containing a few minifigs inspired by the key characters of the game along with one or two ships. With Disney at the helm of the Star Wars license, the spin-off party has only just begun.

The official press release is on StarWars.com.
