It's official and it's no surprise, Disney and Lucasfilm announce the launch of a new Star Wars trilogy under the direction of Rian Johnson, director of the episode The Last Jedi.
All we know for now is that these three new films will feature new characters and that the family saga of Skywalker / Solo will be left behind.
Everyone is going there at the moment of their predictions about the universe that will be developed in this new trilogy about which we know absolutely nothing, but in any case it is good news for fans of the LEGO Star Wars range.
Even if we can legitimately predict that LEGO will continue to decline to infinity the characters, ships and machines of the episodes of the saga released so far, the announcement of this new trilogy obviously promises a great refresh of the range.
Too bad for the finances of collectors like me who now know what to expect for the next few years.
On the sidelines of the announcement of these new films, Disney is preparing for 2019, on the occasion of the launch of its streaming service on demand, a TV series on the Star Wars universe (with real actors ...).
