LEGO today unveiled the new LEGO Star Wars animated series that will support two of the sets in the Star Wars range from the second half of 2016: 75145 Eclipse Fighter et 75147 Star Scavenger.
In short, this series, entitled The Freemaker Adventures, features new characters and takes place between theEpisode V The Empire Strikes Back and Episode VI Return of the Jedi.
The Freemakers are wreck hunters who collect the debris of destroyed ships to assemble new machines which are then sold.
The Force arrives at the youngest member of the party who discovers unusual abilities via an ancient artifact named Kyber Saber, and everyone ends up fighting the Empire.
A few "known" characters from the Star Wars universe will obviously get in the way of these new heroes.
First US broadcast next summer on the Disney XD channel.
