The New York Comic Con opens in two days (October 6-9, 2016) and LEGO logically begins to unveil sets based on The LEGO Batman Movie.
On the menu today are three sets, including the 70912 Arkham Asylum set (1628 pieces) shown above. This set contains a very well-done version of Arkham Asylum and comes with a dozen minifigures, some in prison uniforms: Batman, Robin, Aaron Cash, Two-Face, Catwoman, The Joker, Poison Ivy, The Riddler, Dr. Harleen Quinzel, Barbara Gordon, and two GCPD officers. The announced US retail price is $149.99. In the US, this set will likely be a Toys R Us exclusive initially.
Below is set 70909 Batcave Break-In (1045 pieces) featuring Batman, Alfred Pennyworth, Bruce Wayne, The Penguin, two henchmen, and several spare costumes for Gotham's vigilante. The announced US retail price is $99.99.
Further down, a scene of confrontation between Batman and Mr. Freeze with set 70901 Mr. Freeze Ice Attack (201 pieces). Announced US retail price: $ 19.99
Sets 70909 Batcave Break-In and 70901 Mr. Freeze Ice Attack will be available from November 27th. Set 70912 Arkham Asylum will be available on January 1st, 2017.
