The only thing missing was the announcement of a video game based on the movie itself based on the LEGO license for the ecosystem of products derived from The LEGO Ninjago Movie to be complete.
It's now done with the release of the game's trailer, produced by Warner Bros. and developed as usual by TT Games, which will be released on September 27 for PS4, XBOX One, Nintendo Switch and PC.
As we assumed, the polybag 30608 Kendo Lloyd will therefore go well with the game with the possibility of unlocking the digital version of the character via the code provided on the bag.
Amazon also offers a version called "Day One Edition" in pre-order which seems to be the one delivered with the polybag.
Below, the official pitch of the game followed by the trailer:
With LEGO NINJAGO The Movie: The Video Game, kids can take part in the thrilling action and combat from the movie, and experience their own adventures in the world of Ninjago. Thanks to the improved movements, players will be able to explore Ninjago all the grace and agility of a ninja, while improving their fighting skills.
In the game, players will play as their favorite ninjas Lloyd, Nya, Jay, Kai, Cole, Zane and Master Wu and will have to fight waves of enemies in order to protect their native island, Ninjago, from the evil Lord Garmadon and his army of sharks. In order to emerge victorious, players will need to progress and improve the art of Ninjagility, and explore Ninjago by running over walls, leaping through the air and battling enemies. It's time to harness the power of Spinjitzu and unite to defend Ninjago. The game features 8 action-packed areas based on the story of LEGO NINJAGO, the movie. Each has its own challenge dojo where players can put their fighting skills to the test as they take on increasingly stronger enemies. Finally, with the Battle Cards, players can compete against friends or family in four different game modes, in split screen, and accommodating up to four players in local competitive mode. Developed by TT Games and published by Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment, LEGO NINJAGO, The Movie: The Video Game will be available for PlayStation®4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch ™ and PC Digital on September 27, 2017. |
