The title sucks, as it is.
After his X-Wing , which I found a bit disappointing, 2x4 is back with another MOC that's truly successful: his TIE Fighter (on the left in the photo) is a beautiful compromise between detail and simplicity. The SNOT wings are perfect, and the connecting arms between the cockpit and the wings are simple, almost too simple, but ultimately, there's no real need for more parts in that area.
In the photo, the 2x4 model is on the left and the one from set 9492, the TIE Fighter , is on the right . Draw your own conclusions. Personally, I appreciate both models, with their very different techniques and their equally valid aesthetic choices.
