75926 Pteranodon Chase

One of the few sets in which the Owen Grady minifig is found in the box 75930 Indoraptor Rampage at Lockwood Estate is the cheapest of the range: This is the set 75926 Pteranodon Chase, sold 24.99 €.

In the box, 126 pieces to assemble the all-terrain vehicle, a Pteranodon and two minifigs: Owen Grady and a tracker.

For comparison, the set 75915 Pteranodon Capture (174 pieces) marketed in 2015 at the public price of 26.99 € also allowed to obtain two minifigs (Simon Masrani and a generic soldier from the ACU), a Pteranodon and to assemble a small helicopter.

That being said, this little box has its charm and it offers, despite a very limited inventory, something to have a little fun while hunting Pteranodon.

The whole is coherent, one of the two characters drives the vehicle equipped with the net launcher and the tracker is equipped with a hypodermic rifle to put the beast to sleep.
The machine, which logically monopolizes most of the inventory provided, is well designed. We really have the impression of dealing with a raised 4x4.
The net launcher is the usual manual model. An integrated spring to give a little more power to this accessory will be of good quality ...

For those who are not used to this type of set, please note that LEGO delivers the Pteranodon pieces in flexible plastic in a separate packaging with a plastic insert.
Some will not fail to point out that it is not very ecological, but it is still useful to avoid the deformation of the head of the creature during the various logistical operations that will bring this set on the shelves of your favorite store.

The Pteranodon is successful, it does not do too much cartoon and I really like the mix of colors on the fenders. The collectors will not be able to avoid the acquisition of this set, the creature being of a different color from that of the other Pteranodon of the range delivered in the set Juniors 10756 Pteranodon Escape.

Four stickers in this box: The two license plates of the vehicle, the words "Caution" on the net launcher and the logo on the front cover of the 4x4.

Not enough to philosophize for hours on this set, it's a correct expansion pack that will offer new possibilities to those who already have a few more bushy boxes. It is also a more economical solution than sets 75930 Indoraptor Rampage at Lockwood Estate (139.99 €) and 75928 Blue's Helicopter Pursuit (49.99 €) to get Owen Grady's minifigure.
