U-Wing by Mirko Soppelsa: This is a UCS

Fortunately, there are still a few creators left to bring to life what we could have called the "UCS scale" (Ultimate Collector Series) before LEGO casually applies this label to the (play) set box 75098 Assault on Hoth.

Mirko Soppelsa is one of those and his version of the U-Wing Starfighter, a ship seen in Rogue One: Star Wars Story, has nothing to envy to the mythical vessels of the range Ultimate Collector Series like the Rebel Snowspeeder from set 10129, the X-Wings from sets 7191 and 10240, the Y-Wing from set 10134 or the Imperial Shuttle from set 10212.

In 2017, LEGO should also offer under the reference 75144 a new version of the Snowspeeder seen in the set 10129 released in 2003, which will probably delight all collectors who do not have this box and who today refuse to pay for it. 10 times its original price ($ 130).
