Scott Peterson had already amazed us with his lightsabers recreated using LDD (LEGO Digital Designer). Now he's taking it to the next level and digging into his box of bricks to offer us a very real version of Darth Vader's weapon, the rendering of which is simply incredible in its detail and finish.
This reinforces my belief that these lightsabers should be released as collector's sets... Scott Peterson even suggested the idea on Cuusoo , but supporters are scarce; they're probably too busy supporting the Bonanza project initiated by the community, which is undoubtedly seeking some recognition...
Nevertheless, if you ever hope to get your hands on these lightsabers in a nice box, with a pretty stand and a nice nameplate, support Scott's initiative on Cuusoo . It costs you nothing, and even if we probably won't get very far with 80 supporters, it's a chance to show LEGO that collectors expect more than just another remake of Slave I or the X-Wing...
