After the set 41589 Captain America, a quick glance at two other sets in the BrickHeadz range: References 41585 Batman & 41587 Robin, whose boxes are obviously in the colors of The LEGO Batman Movie and which are sold like the others at the public price of 9.99 €.
For these two characters, I want to say that the exercise is rather successful. The BrickHeadz format ultimately suits them rather well, if we forget Robin's protruding ears.
I am not going to repeat here the usual spiel on the different stages of construction of these figurines, it is with a few details the same thing for all the characters of the range.
I retain here the phosphorescent eyes of Batman (three copies are provided in the set), the toilet glasses which become eyeglasses for Robin and the two capes which are made from parts, which avoids us the pieces of fabric which will inevitably end up wrinkled and discolored over time.
As usual with this new range, everything is pad printed, no sticker is invited in the box. Batman has here a batarang, which he will however have difficulty throwing with his (small) hands pressed against his chest.
In short, nothing to choke with wonder even if these two characters are in my opinion among the most successful of the first wave of sets. Despite everything, everyone will judge the interest of this range according to their tastes and the part of their LEGO budget that they are ready to devote to it.
In the worst case, these boxes will make great gift ideas for a fan of the universe concerned, without you sounding like a tight-fisted (It's still LEGO, and LEGO is expensive, so it is good) and without the product in question ending up in the cellar of the recipient. These BrickHeadz will find their place anywhere to bring a little geek touch (this word is currently in fashion) to an office, a bedroom, etc ...
