CubeDude is a trademark of Angus MacLane

You are certainly familiar with CubeDudes. These cubic figures built using parts, popularized by Angus MacLane and sold during the San Diego Comic-Con 2010 and Celebration V in 2010.

The only problem is that these exclusive sets are selling for a high price in MISB version on Bricklink: From 70 to 260 € for the Comic Con 2010 set et from 70 to 300 € for the Celebration V set...

Since then, many MOCeurs have tried this technique with more or less success. A simple flickr search will convince you.

Moreover, if you are a fan of this type of construction, go to Angus MacLane's flickr gallery, You'll find your happiness. Personally, I find no charm in them, even if I readily recognize the creative aspect of the thing.

So as on Hoth Bricks, we always find you a solution, here is what to get your CubeDudes of Yoda, Anakin, Obi-Wan, R2-D2 and C-3PO at a lower cost:

Meeting on https://www.4kids.tv/papercraft, download the different models, arm yourself with a pair of scissors and a tube of glue and voila. You have your 5 CubeDudes, in paper certainly, but they are yours and without paying a euro.

To make your life easier, I even put the direct links to each character here: Anakin, Yoda, Obi-Wan, R2-D2 et C-3PO.

Thanks WHO ?
