40355 Year of the Rat: In 2020, LEGO is also the year of the rat

In 2020, LEGO will continue to decline the signs of the Chinese zodiac with a new box which will join the six already marketed on this theme since 2013: 40355 Year of the Rat.

After the snake in 2013 (10250), the sheep in 2015 (40148), the monkey in 2016 (40207), the rooster in 2017 (40234), the dog in 2018 (40235) and the pig in 2019 (40186), this will therefore be the rat's turn to be in the spotlight in 2020.

It is not yet known whether it will be possible to get this new box without lining the pockets of secondary market sellers, but there is hope: in June 2019, the set 40186 Year of the Pig was offered as part of a "thematic" operation when purchasing the set 80103 Dragon Boat Race.

Hopefully this new set will suffer the same fate when the sets are released. 80104 Lion Dance (74.99 € / 89.90 CHF) and 80105 Chinese New Year Temple Fair (99.99 € / 129.00 CHF) unveiled a few days ago. For information, 2021 will be the year of the Metal Ox.
