LEGO today unveils the sets 80104 Lion Dance (74.99 € / 89.90 CHF) and 80105 Chinese New Year Temple Fair (99.99 € / 129.00 CHF) which will be launched from December 26, 2019 in Asia and January 10, 2020 in the rest of the world.
These boxes join the sets 80101 Chinese New Year's Eve Dinner, 80102 Dragon Dance et 80103 Dragon Boat Race launched in 2019. Only the reference 80103 had benefited from global distribution after a period of exclusivity in Asia.
You will understand, this two-step launch of these two new boxes allows LEGO to honor the commitment made last May to make globally available the products whose distribution is initially reserved for a certain geographical area. This is the case here with these two boxes planned to celebrate the Chinese New Year that fans will be able to afford from January 10, 2020.
The and 80105 Chinese New Year Temple Fair stages, as its title suggests, a traditional Chinese market with its various stalls, a temple and 14 minifigs. We find in passing the family seen in 2019 in the set 80101 Chinese New Year's Eve Dinner.
The and 80104 Lion Dance features the lion dance, a lucky ritual widely practiced in Asia, with its percussionists and dancers who manipulate colorful costumes. 8 minifigs are delivered in this box including a character in a rat costume in reference to the year 2020 which will be the year ... of the rat.
