We discover this famous X-Wing just before its departure for Times Square and the size of the gentleman next door lets you imagine the scale of the thing.

Replica of the X-Wing from the System set 9493 X-Wing Starfighter released in 2012 (560 pieces)
- 5.335.200 parts, but we've been telling you this since this morning
- Weight: 20856 kg (I.e. more than 20 tonnes)
- Height: 3.35 meters
- Length: 13.1 meters
- Total wingspan (width including wings): 13.44 meters
- 32 people (Master Builders) mobilized for 17.336 hours or approximately 4 months working
- Assembly takes place in Kladno in the Czech Republic
- The model will then be exhibited at LEGOLAND Park in California from June 13, 2013
- The wings do not open and there is a metal frame in the model to hold the whole thing
