Even if it doesn't really make sense anymore due to the leaks that have taken place recently, LEGO continues unabashedly to decline its teasing operation which will lead us to the announcement of the LEGO Star Wars set. 75192 Millennium Falcon, scheduled for September 1st.
Today we are told that the box in the set will not fit in a plastic LEGO bag like the ones you get when you go for something in a LEGO Store. Good luck to all those who will take the metro with the LEGO box above with its wheels and handle.
I wonder how LEGO is going to handle the deliveries of this set for orders placed on the LEGO Shop.
With about fifteen kilos on the scale and a large volume, the box must be conditioned to withstand the few days of transport and the many manipulations that will take place before the package arrives at the end customer.
As far as I'm concerned, at the slightest trace on the outer packaging of the parcel, I will refuse it without even taking the time to listen to the explanations of the delivery man who will obviously try to get me to sign and leave empty-handed ...
For those who don't know, when you receive an order placed on the LEGO Shop whose contents are damaged (crushed box for example), a simple call to the LEGO sales department allows you to obtain a replacement of the set concerned and a return label to return the damaged product at the brand's expense. But you have to drop off this item at the Post Office. In this specific case, refusing the delivery will probably be more judicious than going in line with fifteen kilos on your hands.
