So it's off again for a slew of images of the 2012 novelties of the LEGO Star Wars range. We continue with the set 9494 Anakin's Jedi Interceptor.
The device is a nice evolution of the Jedi Interceptor from the set 7256 Jedi Starfighter and Vulture Droid released in 2005 or that of the set 7661 Jedi Starfighter with Hyperdrive Booster Ring released in 2007.
The wings are pleasantly revised and the barrels are well designed. R2-D2 is housed in the left wing, which it therefore crosses completely, and remains supported by a support placed under the wing. The mixture of colors works quite well, in any case on these photos, you will have to see the rendering on the set itself.
The other wing uses the same design with a few flick-fire missiles, a LEGO trademark that serves as an alibi for the gameplay.
Side minifigs, Nute Gunray is simply magnificent, and finally represents a beautiful evolution of the minifig of the set 8036 Separatist Shuttle also seen in the Advent Calendar 7958 LEGO Star Wars Advent Calendar.
Obi-Wan Kenobi and Anakin Skywalker are dressed in silkscreen print halfway between classic Star Wars design and very spirit. cartoon Clone Wars.
A platform allowing to reproduce the duel on Mustafar is provided. A bit of a gadget, but always welcome to bring a little playability to the whole.
You can find these high resolution photos in Grogall's Brickshelf Gallery.
