The end of the year will be eventful: Since the takeover of Lucasfilm by Disney, rumors are rife and in all areas.
What is glaring is that the announcement of a new trilogy has just revived for many years the industry of rumor, of declaration "off", mysterious tweet or a priori secret projects whose leaks are cleverly organized.
First rumor: Harrisson ford would be open to the idea of reprising Han Solo in the next trilogy, sources say "well placed"and more or less well informed.
Probably not during the three films, but a small role with a big check in the company of Mark Hamill and Carrie Fisher could certainly suit him.
Obviously, Ford will wait to have the script in his hands and to know the name of the director chosen by Disney before getting more involved in the project and reincarnating on the screen a character who has not necessarily marked him in his acting career: He admitted in 2010 that he had no particular affection for this role of smuggler of the galaxy.
At the rate things are going, the idea that Hamill, Fisher and Ford resume their roles, even for a few minutes as the introduction of a new saga, is no longer so absurd ...

The other rumor of the day concerns the discussions that are said to be currently underway between Disney et Hasbro for a possible takeover of the toy maker by the entertainment giant.
Nothing is done, but this merger would allow Disney to have access to very profitable licenses like Transformers, Beyblade or GI Joe.
This operation would once again feed the theory to which I adhere and which wants films and other TV series to be nothing more than gigantic advertisements promoting the ranges of products derived from these universes.
Not that this systematically devalues all the works in question, but it necessarily impacts their creative process depending on the projects of the toy manufacturer concerned. More than ever, the life and profitability of a movie is no longer just about cinema admissions and Blu-ray sales.
Georges Lucas had already understood several decades ago that this process was going to be reversed: Han Solo could have died at the end of the saga, but it was too difficult to sell figurines of a dead character ...
