We had already obtained a list of the next sets a few weeks ago:

21104 LEGO® NASA Mars Science Laboratory Curiosity Rover

This is the next set from the LEGO Cuusoo project and I must admit that the final version of the Curiosity Rover proposed by Stephen Pakbaz alias Perijove in 2011 and who had obtained the 10.000 supports necessary to enter the review phase in August 2012 (See this article) is quite successful.

I'm not a fan of (realistic) space things, but this box will join my collection.

This set 21104 LEGO® NASA Mars Science Laboratory Curiosity Rover of 295 pieces will be available from 1 January 2014 on the Lego shop at a rate of 29.99 €.

You can read on the Cuusoo blog the reaction of Stephen Pakbaz who received the final version of the model.

LEGO Minifigures: The Online Game

We're talking about the next LEGO-style MMO again with this new video presentation of the game uploaded by Funcom and which illustrates the words of Lawrence Poe, executive producer of the game.

With the ghost of the late LEGO Universe MMO hovering over this new online-exclusively game which will be available on PCs and tablets in mid-2014, the development studio Funcom is doing everything to explain that the accessibility of this new online game will be optimized for young players, under the control of their parents, and that the game will obviously be centered on minifigs but also on the construction of elements allowing to progress in the game, that there will be many worlds to visit, etc. .

It is still planned to be able to use codes available in the sachets of minifigs of the series 12 available in the fall of 2014 to unlock the digital version of the character contained in the sachet (Thanks to the Skylanders concept of Activision, which told me. 'elsewhere very expensive in figurines ...). Access to the game will be free, with no doubt the possibility of purchases in-game without which I don't see how the development studio is going to make it profitable.

Un site dedicated to the game has been put online with the possibility of unlocking minifigs by collecting the stars scattered in the different sections, forcing you to visit all the pages and click on all the links. Attention, these minifigs unlocked in your profile on this site will not be unlocked in the game, it is written in very small. On the other hand, it is indicated that if you reach level 30 on the site, you will be able to unlock an exclusive minifig in the game.

It will not be possible to customize the characters in the game, their skills and appearance will be defined and frozen. On the other hand, it will be possible to make them progress to increase their capacities.

Note that you can also identify yourself on the site with your LEGO profile (that of the LEGO Shop) and sign up for the next phase of beta testing.

Ninjago: Masters of Spinjitzu

Here are nearly five minutes of never-before-seen footage from season 3 of the animated series Ninjago: Masters of Spinjitzu whose broadcast will begin in 2014 in the USA, and no doubt in the aftermath with us.

For the record, this video (in English) can be unlocked on the channel's website cartoon network using a unique code that is on a poster distributed at Toys R Us (USA) that we will probably never see reach our regions. So here it is in full below.

You can repack Chima, Ninjago is back in force ...

Note that a film is also in preparation, with production Chris Miller and Phil Lord, the two directors of the next film The LEGO Movie. While writing the scenario, we find the brothers Dan and Kevin Hageman, already authors on the animated series Ninjago: Masters of Spinjitzu et The LEGO Movie.

To accompany everything, a few boxes are obviously planned. The visuals of the new sets are in the dedicated album of my flickr gallery.

LEGO Store @Disney Village

The soap opera has never ended since the construction accident which saw the false ceiling of the future LEGO Store in Disney Village collapse last September.

Several times postponed, the opening is now scheduled for the end of December (the 30th normally).

As stated on the forum Disney central plaza, Store employees will begin training on December 20 and then set up the store as of December 23.

The photo of the progress of the work above was published on facebook on December 3 by InsideDLParis

I'll be at Disneyland right after Christmas, but a priori too early to be able to go for a walk in this LEGO Store that we are promised as the largest in Europe.
