Lego Batman: The Visual Dictionary

When you think about it, it makes sense: Dorling Kindersley editions books are regularly published on the various popular LEGO themes and the Super Heroes range is no exception to the rule.

This year we will be entitled to a 96-page book whose title is unsurprising: LEGO® Batman: The Visual Dictionary.

The release date is scheduled for September 2012. An exclusive minifig will be offered with the book as is already the case for the two books relating to the LEGO Star Wars range: LEGO® Star Wars The Visual Dictionary et LEGO® Star Wars Character Encyclopedia.

If we stick to the description in English on the publisher's site: ... An illustrated timeline shows every LEGO Batman set ever produced ..., this book could include all the sets already released in the LEGO Batman universe and could therefore include those from the 2006-2008 range. But this remains to be confirmed pending further information.

Amazon already references this book: LEGO® Batman: The Visual Dictionary. You can also find it in the Brick Heroes store.

See the sheet of the book at the publisher Dorling Kindersley.

Classic Iron Man by Fine Clonier

Another custom based on Iron Man with this version of Fine Clonier which is oriented towards the aspect comic of Tony Stark's armor. The shape of the face and eyes will confuse some, but it is quite faithful to the version that served as a reference for Fine Clonier. For those who do not yet know this creator of custom minifigs, go to his flickr gallery, there are great achievements ...

Besides, for those who have not seen it on flickr ou Facebook, I take this opportunity to post you below a small pseudo-artistic scenario that I made with my 4 Iron Man customs made by Christo. They cost me an arm, an eye and a kidney, but I like them ...

LEGO Clone Army (2012) - Legoboy Productions ™

I already know the debate is going to ignite, but I have to post here an update on what appears to be the biggest collection of vehicles and Clone Troopers amassed by a single guy on YouTube anyway. . LEGOboy12345678 (!) Posted an update of their 4 year collection and the result is both impressive and surprising ...

The War of the Clone Armies is still raging on YouTube, I already told you about it in this article, and LEGOboy12345678 has obviously taken control ...

Difficult to remain unmoved in front of so many machines, soldiers, speeders, dropships, customs, etc ... exclusively based on the universe of The Clone Wars.

Obviously, there are those who congratulate this collector for this gigantic army and those who scoff at the sums obviously spent over the years to fill an entire room with sets in multiple copies.

The 24 minute video below details all of this. It is commented on by the collector in question.

I'm curious what you think, feel free to post a comment. Stay polite and courteous, no need to get upset or insult others. After all, everyone does what they want with their money and their passion ...

Haldir Custom Minifig (Lord of the Rings) by Grant Me Your Bacon!

Clarence, a young American student who posts on flickr under the enigmatic nickname Grant Me Your Bacon! Currently offers excellent customs on various themes, including Lord of the Rings.

In contrast to the achievements ofartwalker_ts, his creations are imbued with more realism. It will please or not, but we must admit that the result is artistically very successful. We are far from the polished aesthetic of some custom minifigs and the violence and roughness of the fighting in Tolkien's universe is cleverly suggested.

To see more and discover many other creations of Grant Me Your Bacon!, It's certain his flickr gallery that it happens.
