Everything that LEGO had announced for the 25th anniversary of the animated series has been produced and put on sale: The 71006 The Simpsons House set and the series of 16 collectible minifigures ( 71005 ).
LEGO didn't promise anything more, and at no time did the manufacturer leave the door open for future sets. And yet, there are many who hope that LEGO will take advantage of the current craze around these products to extend the experience and add a few additional boxes or bags to this range.
A list of potential sets was published on Reddit in August 2013 ( see this article ), but this false rumor quickly debunked itself over the following months. No Simpsons sets, with the exception of 71006, were announced at the various Toy Fairs earlier this year.
There is no viable information today on the continuation of this line at LEGO. Knowing that the development of a set or a range cannot be decided overnight, LEGO would have to have projects in its boxes at an already very advanced stage so that we can see a second series appear as if by surprise. sachets or a few additional boxes.
