... When we can keep it simple.
You will understand it if you follow this blog, I am particularly fond of creations in micro format and this X-Wing proposed by Bert Van Raemdonck alias BEAVeR is simply brilliant.
The use of doors (References 3821 et 3822) is a great idea that fits perfectly with this mini-ship here accompanied by a Tie Advanced fighter that uses two shields from the Knight Kingdoms II range (Reference 48494) as wings.
The two images brought together above by me are available separately in large format on the flickr gallery of MOCeur.
Another MOC / Diorama with this superb creation proposed by Julius No alias Captain Nemo.
Batman faces the drug lord Black Mask accompanied by his most loyal thugs in this scene where the action is frozen and deserves your attention.
The details are numerous, from the conveyor belt conveying the drug packages to the ventilation system, including the frame and the facade.
It's bushy, the finish is impeccable and I just spent ten good minutes enjoying myself with the close-ups offered by Julius No on his flickr gallery. Other images are also online in the dedicated topic to this MOC on Eurobricks.
It's yours...
I have received many emails asking me to reference on Pricevortex.com the all too rare and often not found 3-in-1 LEGO Star Wars Super Packs that come out every year.
These boxes, which bring together three sets from the LEGO Star Wars range, with a logic that is sometimes difficult to understand as the mixtures offered are inconsistent, are generally available exclusively from a single store such as Toys R Us, Auchan or La Grande Récré.
It is difficult to find them elsewhere at a reasonable price, even if eBay can be a sometimes interesting source of supply, especially from German sellers.
You will find the entire offer on eBay by clicking on the link below: Lego Star Wars Super Packs 3-in-1 @ eBay.
Their presence on the shelves is often limited in time and their price then skyrockets with third-party sellers who have had the presence of mind to stock these boxes for later resale, in particular on Bricklink.
So I added the dozen of existing references released since 2010 in the price comparison, it's up to you to compare and find the best source to add these boxes to your collection ...
The Arc Reactor MOCs, Tony Stark's source of vital energy, are few and far between. And crazy just sent me his by email.
The result is interesting and regulars of the blog will have recognized thanks to a few design details the MOC which was freely inspired. crazy for his version of Iron Man's Arc Reator. This is obviously the Arc Reactor by Mr Attacki I was telling you about here a few months ago.
After multiple attempts to obtain a reduced size version, crazy arrived at this nice compromise. Good work.
It's almost Christmas, and collectors of LEGO Star Wars products of all kinds know it well, a beautiful tree must have at least one Hallmark decoration hanging from one of its branches.
After Darth Vader in 2011 and a Stromtrooper in 2012, the manufacturer of decorations and ornaments Hallmark declines its range under license LEGO Star Wars and presents, a little in advance, its new creation for 2013 with in the spotlight the inevitable Yoda.
Personally, these characters to hang on the branches do not attract me at all, so I regularly ignore this type of goodies.
It is sold $ 14.95 on the official website of the brand and sometimes on amazon.
Christmas is approaching at high speed, quickly take out the crib and the fairy lights ...
