Zuckuss: The Uncanny One

Omar Ovalle continues his momentum with this new bust representing Zuckuss, the Ghent-bred Bounty Hunter with the look of an insect on a drip, who, for the record, created his own comrade in arms, the infamous 4-LOM , from a protocol droid.

He is here accompanied by his favorite weapon: The GRS-1 Snare Rifle.

Other Bounty Hunters are to be discovered in the flickr gallery Omar Ovalle, who also promises us a surprise MOC for May 4th. And it won't be a Bounty Hunter ...

2013 RepTrak ™ 100

LEGO has a good reputation with its customers, that's no scoop. Its products are good, its service is good, its image is good, don't throw it away, we understand.

The RepTrak 100 ranking is a top 100 of the most prominent companies globally. Or rather in the following 15 countries: Australia, Brazil, Canada, China, France, Germany, India, Italy, Japan, Mexico, Russia, South Korea, Spain, Great Britain and USA.

LEGO is therefore in 10th place in this ranking which reflects the global reputation of the companies concerned. The brand finished in the top 10 for the 3rd consecutive year.

I spare you here the methodology (disputed by some) employed by the very serious "Reputation Institute"to establish this ranking built around the four criteria of esteem, general impression, trust and admiration generated by the company evaluated.

In short, all this to tell you that consumers like to play with LEGO products, drink Nespresso coffee, surf on their iPhones, go on vacation with their BMWs, eat their Kellog's cereal in the morning by checking the time on their Rolex watch beforehand. to print their vacation photos taken with their Sony digital camera on their Canon printer, etc ... I'll stop there, I guess you understand ...

LEGO has cracked a press release to announce its very good results, which you can read at this address: The LEGO Group the most reputable company in North America.

Yoda and Luke on Dagobah by Bayou

Nice scene proposed by Bayou with this MOC on Dagobah where we find Yoda, R2-D2 and Luke who has just "put" his X-Wing in the swamps of the inhospitable planet.

The scene is directly inspired by theEpisode V: The Empire Strikes Back when Luke goes looking for Yoda on the advice of Obi-Wan's ghost.

Special mention for the shots in low light which put us in the mood and which magnify the effect sought with the X-Wing half swallowed by the greenish waters made from parts Trans Green.

We can never say it enough, an MOC deserves to be correctly photographed before being subjected to popular vindictiveness. Knowing that AFOLs are not always very tender with their fellows, you might as well put the odds in your favor ...

You can admire Bayou's work from all angles in the dedicated topic to this achievement at Eurobricks.

Thor 2: The Dark World
The trailer for Thor 2: The Dark World, which is scheduled for release in France on October 30, is online and it is an opportunity to recall that there is no point in screaming at the spoiler as soon as the first images of sets derived from a film several months before the actual theatrical release of the film concerned.

The first feedback on the Iron Man 3 projections confirms that the three LEGO sets (76006 Extremis Sea Port Battle76007 Malibu Mansion Attack et 76008 Ultimate Showdown) inspired by the third installment of the adventures of Tony Stark  and his acolytes are not completely faithful, if at all for some boxes, to the action and the script of the film.

There is no point in feeling betrayed by LEGO about possible scenario points, you will realize for yourself that it is not.

Without going into details so as not to spoil the surprise effect for all those who have been waiting for the release of this film for many months, we can say that LEGO has happily mixed up the characters in scenes where they do not necessarily appear. ..

As for Thor 2, we can safely assume that we should be entitled to at least one set based on the adventures of Odin's son in the company of Jane Foster played by Natalie Portman. It would also be fun to be entitled to a minifig of Natalie Portman in its Marvel version, to compare with the Star Wars versions (Queen Amidala, Padme) ...
