To accompany the launch of a large handful of new products in March 2024, LEGO is offering two new promotional offers which allow, on the one hand, to be offered a copy of the set 40680 Flower Store from 200 € of purchase without restriction of range and on the other to be offered two small polybags, the Animal Crossing references 30662 Maple's Pumpkin Garden and Friends 30665 Beach Cleanup, for any purchase of a minimum amount of €50 in the Friends, Animal Crossing, Creator 3-in-1, DREAMZzz and CITY universes.

These two offers are valid until March 10, 2024 and you may find what you need there if you, for example, want to collect all of the products in the LEGO Animal Crossing range.

LEGO today unveils a set that will be available from March 1, 2024 only on the shelves of the Store installed in the heart of the LEGO House in Billund: the reference 40505 LEGO Building System.

This box, the 5th in the collection of sets which pays homage to the emblematic products of the LEGO brand, features three universes with the DUPLO train dating from the 80s, the range Town Map with its constructions with red roofs launched in 1955 and a miniature version of the colorful LEGO Technic chassis delivered in 1977 in the set bearing the reference 853 Car Chassis.
At the back of the construction presented in front of a gray wall which embodies the staging visible in the space dedicated to the different LEGO universes of the LEGO House in Billund, we find 19 emblematic nano-constructions installed in niches as well as a space left voluntarily empty by the manufacturer which will allow buyers of this box to add their favorite model.

For those who are wondering about the presence of the number 5 on the box: this set is the fifth element of what we can now call the "LEGO House Collection" after references 40501 The Wooden Duck (2020) 40502 The Brick Molding Machine (2021) 40503 Dagny Holm - Master Builder (2022) et 40504 A Minifigure Tribute (2023), all limited edition.

Public price of the set: 699 DKK or approximately €94. This product is not available anywhere other than the Billund Store, so you will have to contact secondary market resellers to obtain it if you do not want to make the trip.

Today we continue with the release of a copy of the LEGO DC set 76252 Batcave Shadow Box, a box of 3981 pieces freely inspired by the film Batman Returns (1992). This derivative product is an exhibition model sold for €399.99 which integrates some features, a Batmobile and allows you to obtain Batman minifigs in two versions, Bruce Wayne, Catwoman, Alfred Pennyworth, The Penguin and Max Shreck.

Today we are quickly interested in the content of the LEGO Star Wars set 75375 Millennium Falcon, a box of 921 pieces currently for pre-order on the official online store and which will be available from March 1, 2024 at the public price of €84.99.

You already know if you followed the announcement of this product and the two other references of the same barrel, LEGO is launching a new Starship Collection which brings the format back to the forefront Midi Scale who had his first hours of glory a few years ago via the sets 7778 Midi-Scale Millennium Falcon (2009) et 8099 Midi-Scale Imperial Star Destroyer (2010)

We then had the right to other references using the principle of this compact scale adapted to these models with the sets 77904 Nebulon B-Frigate sold exclusively at Amazon USA in 2020 and 75356 Executor Super Star Destroyer available since last year.

Those who have followed me for many years know that I have always been very attracted by this somewhat unusual format which, in my opinion, allows you to obtain pretty compact models without sacrificing too much the level of detail of the product and to allow you to create a nice collection without breaking the bank or buying a house with a room dedicated to the biggest ships in the Star Wars range. This is once again the case here, with a product which largely returns the 2009 version to the ropes in terms of finish and which allows you to have fun without spending several hundred euros.

The format Midi Scale However, it is necessary to review a little its conception of the LEGO universe and to make some concessions on the precision of the finishes of the model concerned. There are always a few empty spaces here and there, the adjustments between the different sub-assemblies are not always perfect and some of the solutions used will perhaps seem a little far-fetched to some, in particular with managed angles of somewhat haphazard manner.

We can also cite a certain fragility of different sections but this is a model and not a children's toy. It is the result that counts and the pleasure of assembly remains very present with the added bonus of the satisfaction of seeing the birth of a model which will be very credible observed from a certain distance.

Scale obliges, the greebling or the art of adding finishing details using small elements, can seem a little crude in certain places but that's the price to pay to stay within the imposed format and I find the whole thing rather visually coherent.

During assembly, we add the crew of the ship in the manner of what the set also offers 75356 Executor Super Star Destroyer and even if these very symbolic micro-representations of the different characters quickly disappear under the cabin of the ship, it is still appreciable to see that the designer has planned to please the fans in the space of a few assembly sequences. The Dejarik table is delivered in a very symbolic but pad-printed version.

The ship is here installed on a support similar in its finish to that of the set 75356 Executor Super Star Destroyer, the collection effect will be there and this relatively discreet black sub-assembly will be forgotten to highlight the construction. Those who want to add a figurine or attach the additional brick delivered in this box to the rest of the product can do so via the two sets of tenons available, simply remove one or two of the grids installed in these locations. The support remains independent of the model, you can have fun flying it around the room before putting it back in place.

We can also discuss the absence of a minifigure in this box, I personally think that the set is sufficient in itself and that it was not necessary to add a character. Here we obtain a pretty exhibition model which exists without having to be accompanied for example by Han Solo and which in my opinion would ultimately have been rather assimilated to a microfighter luxury if LEGO had added a minifigure.

Small useful clarification, there are no stickers in this box and all the patterned elements that you see in the photos are therefore pad printed. So much the better for the model which will better resist the assaults of time, light and dust on your shelves.

The set is flanked by a small plaque confirming to all those who have no idea of ​​the subject covered that it is indeed the Millennium Falcon as well as a pretty brick celebrating 25 years of the LEGO Star Wars range. These two pad-printed elements obviously reinforce the "collector" side of the product, we are not going to complain about it.

If you have never approached the format Midi Scale, let yourself be tempted, these products are financially very accessible, they offer a relatively brief but satisfactory assembly experience and the result obtained will, in my opinion, meet your expectations.

This range also allows you to line up some pretty emblematic ships from the Star Wars universe on a shelf without invading your living room and the decorative potential of these compact models is undeniable.
