In the family Legomaniac, we are not idle and we prefer to do things ourselves:
When the father reproduces a board game marketed by Lansay to please his 4 year old daughter, the son creates his own Advent Calendar on the theme of super heroes.
The board game reproduced here takes exactly the principle of the version proposed by Lansay: Remove one by one the bricks from the wall without dropping Spider-Man. The LEGOmaniac version even has its own storage box.
MiniLM for its part had already raged last year with a Alternative Star Wars Advent Calendar to the one offered by LEGO.
This time, it keeps the micro format and offers a daily scene featuring a super hero that you must discover. To follow daily on LEGOmaniac flickr gallery or on the family blog at this address.
Now that we've discovered the official visuals for the Series 9 minifigs and set our sights on some of them, the issue of supply remains to be resolved.
The distribution of these series of minifigs is rather chaotic in France. Will we have to be content, as with the previous series, of a few bags at the checkout at the supermarket or in some toy stores?
I got into the habit of ordering boxes of 60 minifigs that several of us shared depending on the content (so far three sets per box).
But the situation seems to be changing with this series 9: According to WhiteFang's review on Eurobricks, the box of 60 minifigs of the series 9 would indeed contain only two complete sets of 16 minifigs, which does not help our affairs.
Here is an indication of what was in the WhiteFang box provided by LEGO:
2 x Waiters 6 x Cyclops (s) 2 x Hollywood Starlets 6 x Heroic Knights 4 x Roman Emperors 6 x Policemen 4 x Chicken Suit Guys 2 x Roller Derby Girls |
2x Fortune Teller 4 x Judges 6x Alien Avengers 4 x Mermaids 4x Battle Mechs 4 x Mr Good and Evil (s) 2 x Forest Maidens 2 x Plumbers |
Obviously, as was the case for the previous series, the distribution may vary from one box to another, this count is not guaranteed.
Waiting, amazon.fr has already uploaded the box of 60 sachets pre-order at a price of 118 €.
Series 9 is still not listed at Peek and Poke.
Still a widely illustrated review at Comunidade0937 this time, of this 10937 Arkham Asylum Breakout set that all fans of the superhero range including myself should be snapping up at the start of next year.
For the minifigs first of all, with among others Harleen Quinzel and her red and black collar barely concealed by her blouse, a remake of the Penguin and a Joker in prisoner outfit.
For the rest also: the prisoner transport van is nice, and the interior (or rather the other side of the facade ...) of Arkham Asylum offers many fun possibilities. I'm less sensitive to portal prowess, but I know many of you enjoy it.
This exclusive set is currently featured on the LEGO Shop at the price of 159.99 € with an availability date announced on January 1, 2013.
An Ewok is necessarily mean.
I must have already written it to you somewhere, I've always been afraid of the Ewoks. Younger, their black eyes without blinking an eyelid really posed a problem for me, luckily solved in the Blu-ray edition by the way ...
In vain I told myself that these are just a few cubs living in harmony in a distant forest, sooner or later I thought of their eyes of deceitful cannibals. Since then I have been better, thank you.
BaronSat gratifies us here with one of those hairy critters and it's impeccable. Studs, which we tend to do without more and more, intelligently serve the realization here.
This character reminds me a bit of this current trend of cartoony mini characters (Legohaulic here, light2525 there), and this is the opportunity to see on this theme the work of MOCeurs who usually produce very different things.
To find out about other BaronSat MOCs (if you haven't already done so for a long time), go to his flickr gallery.
(Thanks to 1fan for his email)
LEGO is a master in the art of teasing and the new web series called The Yoda Chronicles is no exception to the rule.
It's certain the official LEGO Star Wars blog that the Jedi master himself distils these images which announce the upcoming launch of this new animated series, a new episode of which should be unveiled every Saturday.
No information yet on the format or duration of these episodes. Obviously, as soon as we know more, we keep up to date ...
