5461235920 b50ae824a3Here is a diorama, a real one, a big one, with animations, and tons of incredible details. It was designed by Bo Jensen for LEGOWorld 2011 in Copenhagen.
The figures are impressive: 25 hours per week for 11 months to assemble everything, 750 kg and 1.5 million bricks used, for a total budget of around 47.000 euros ....
Snowspeeders and Speeder Bikes are mounted on rails and both AT-ATs are motorized.
Enjoy the video below, in music and with some exceptional on-board camera sequences:

Bo Jensen is not at his first attempt, in 2009 he had already presented a diorama on HOTH for LEGOWorld 2009, here is the video below:

In 2010, he presented an ENDOR diorama:

L4943Seen on the general FreeLUG list, the release of a new publication: The 100% LEGO Game Ledger.
On the menu, games of course (for children), but above all 3 minifigs and all for 9.99 €.

A City themed minifigure, a policeman, and a pirate themed minifigure.

Yellow heads, no flesh, but a nice pair of Tan legs for this pirate supplied with his skull hat.

A little vintage side therefore, for these three minifigs provided with this publication announced here as bimonthly, with a new number scheduled for 18/04/2011.
Thanks to Batafol for the info on the FreeLUG list.

Seasoned collectors already know it, others will have believed it for a few seconds: This photo, a perfect reproduction of a hypothetical UCS set, is a fake.
We could be mistaken, but it is simply the work of a MOCeur named Badgerboy who participated in a 2007 MOC contest on FBTB (From Bricks To Bothans) and who designed this impressive visible MOC here in his Brickshelf gallery.
You are probably wondering why I am telling you about a 3 year old MOC, but quite simply because this visual of UCS set comes back periodically on the forums and is still the subject of speculation on the part of somewhat gullible forumers.
The next time you run into a guy in a forum who wants you to believe the kick-out of the year, don't be shy about explaining to him that this is all just a montage from a MOCeur. gifted.

Odaiba201102 05seen on Lego-kei, a site dedicated to small bricks in the land of the rising sun, a stand where you can configure your minifig yourself according to your tastes ....

Torsos, heads, legs, hairstyle, each element is offered in detail.

When will this kind of shop be in France? In fact, when will a LEGO store in France .....
In the same shop, there are textiles, dozens of mini sets, and many accessories for sale ...
The paradise of AFOL in short.

moc tatooineA nice MOC than this diorama on Tatooine, with buildings whose design really recalls those of the LEGO Star Wars video game.

We will appreciate the integration of a slew of characters and the presence of many details in this scene.

The designer of this MOC talks about it in his topic on Eurobricks, where he also explains that he had planned to present this diorama in a box filled with sand during an exhibition, but that he had given up sand for reasons techniques related to the passage of visitors and the movement of air.
In short, if you want to congratulate this MOCeur or find out more, go to this address on Eurobricks.
